If you’d bet the long odds-on, Forte would have given you an absolute heart attack in the Florida Derby just now, but in the end he led at the only place that counts – on the line.
I’ve liked this colt ever since he beat Loggins in the Breeders’ Futurity at Keeneland last October.
He followed up by flooring Cave Rock in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile there in November and he’d won in his reappearance in March.
He looks like he definitely needs 1m2f now as he’s needed every yard of the 1m1f to get up today.
