Michael Stainton for me. Been very impressed with this lad last season as well as this. Seems to be in the right place in a race and makes few mistakes. If I had a horse in a big handicap this season I’d be looking at him to take 5lbs off, great value.

April 30, 2007 at 17:51 #55884One I have noticed is Liam Jones. He is with Willie Haggas but has ridden most of his winners for Mark Brisbourne.<br>He seems capable of riding a horse to it’s greatest advantage, from the front or from behind. He is still at the stage were his winners are usually a decent price.
April 30, 2007 at 17:58 #55885Can’t look further than Stainton either Yeats. Good hard working lad and great positional sense and timing. Hope he goes far – i’m sure his claim will be gone and I hope when it is he’ll go on to greater success :)

May 1, 2007 at 12:34 #55888Steven Donohue – will be as strong as Jimmy Fortune
May 1, 2007 at 12:38 #55889Donohue is the real deal – Marc Halford is my darkish one to follow this year particularly if and when Elsworth sticks him on a handicapper with a chance.
May 1, 2007 at 13:00 #55890Wahey, nearly 4 years I’ve been biggin up Mick and finally he gets the TRF recognition  all the hard works paying off & i knew him before the fame!!!
May 1, 2007 at 17:39 #55891If we’re on about the same lad Katy would be good to see him get some decent rides. Wouldn’t hesitate to back a horse with him on
May 2, 2007 at 12:30 #55892Hayden Frost – good young jockey on last years evidence
