Aha TTT, now your talking my language, that I can agree with. Strict levels is not the answer but when you say that magic word "Compound", I know were on the same wavelength. I also vary my stakes according to price, I cannot bet the same amount on a 12/1 that I would on a 3/1…… lets meet in the middle and we’ll call it "variable level stakes", that I can agree with…… all the best and apologies for hogging your thread Matron…….

February 28, 2003 at 18:30 #40807Hi Matron,
Well done on a fantastic February. There is a lot of praise being given to other systems on this forum, but yours has consistently delivered the goods.
I started using your system to identify races in which to lay, but backed the last 11 selections and had 10 winners on the trot. I know how quickly things can go pear shaped in this game, but have a good staking plan that should see me through tough periods – once again well done & thanks.

February 28, 2003 at 18:50 #40809Congratulations are well and truly due Matron.
Now that I’m not around to give you so much hassle it looks as though it has worked wonders. Just goes to show what a bit of peace and quiet can do. ;)
And what’s that MrE accusing me of now. C’mon, spit it out old timer – what have I done this time?
February 28, 2003 at 20:54 #40812Thanks Phil – at the beginning of the year you would have been better "laying" everything I suggested! Things have gone well lateley, just hope I can maintain the strike rate as the prices are never going to set the world alight. The sticky patch will come when we switch codes.
Nice to see you are still around Dave and I hope everything is going well for you. I think MrE misses the banter with you, so pop in more often when you get a chance. Good luck for March.

03/03/03 – 14:40 Fontwell – Lost – as "Ins And Outs" is a N/R I will not be playing on this race now. It would be unfair at this stage to void this race though as today’s selection.
