Wonder who now turns up for the Christmas Hurdle?
November 29, 2025 at 14:18 #1746021For Constitution Hill’s welfare they need to consider whether jumping obstacles are beneficial these falls in my opinion are not much different to his other two. Well done those on Golden Ace

The more I know the less I understand.
November 29, 2025 at 14:19 #1746022Pretty much a carbon copy of the Champion Hurdle. What an absolute shambles of a race.
Regards Constitution Hill, I think neither the jockey nor the horse have any confidence in the other anymore. Nico looked guessy from the minute the tape went up.
The horse looks to be suffering from PTSD. I’d honestly try Cobden on him now and if that fails then there’s no hope left. The New Lion is clearly the horse to take from the race. Really didn’t want to be left in front and was just idling when coming down. I’m confident now that barring a miracle from Constitution Hill, the Champion Hurdle is a 2 horse race.
Lossiemouth vs The New Lion
Don’t be surprised if a certain aeroplane (Sir Gino) makes a surprise appearance though.
November 29, 2025 at 14:19 #1746023CH and New Lion may have time to restore their reputations, but Anzadam was disappointing and Willie must have something better at home
November 29, 2025 at 14:19 #1746024Not now he ain’t Ex RubyLight :o)
November 29, 2025 at 14:20 #1746025Could always try going flat racing with CH if they don’t want to retire him but jumping should be a hard pass with him now.
November 29, 2025 at 14:20 #1746026“Wonder who now turns up for the Christmas Hurdle?”
Not The New Lion trainer was saying. Track not stiff enough.
November 29, 2025 at 14:21 #1746028I don’t consider it a shambles of a race to win you have to jump Golden Ace did that.
The more I know the less I understand.
November 29, 2025 at 14:22 #1746029Wouldn’t give up on Anzadam just yet as it was not only his 5th ever hurdle race but also only his 5th every race period.
November 29, 2025 at 14:25 #1746030Elliot must surely be tempted to have a crack at the Champion with Wodhooh now also. She’s probably the best jumper of a hurdle in training imo.
November 29, 2025 at 14:27 #1746032“William Munny by no means out of the CH picture.”
Good shout ERL.
November 29, 2025 at 14:28 #1746034I thought Golden Ace had a perfect hurdling technique.
November 29, 2025 at 14:28 #1746035GM23 – Think he will likely avoid facing Lossiemouth again but as they say you have to be in it to win it.
November 29, 2025 at 14:29 #1746036I wasn’t impressed by Anzadam. Came there tanking along but found very little. I didn’t like his head carriage much.
Not convinced The New Lion would have won even if he had stood up.
November 29, 2025 at 14:29 #1746037Those damn hurdles looked whiter than ever! The New Lion, at one point, looked a bit spooked at a hurdle before coming down later.
November 29, 2025 at 14:29 #1746038CAS, are you and Ian on that same bet? You know, CH too win just one Champion Hurdle at 7/2 or so?
November 29, 2025 at 14:30 #1746039Elliott might but she won’t beat Lossiemouth , they can put another jockey on the hill but where the hell would that leave Nico
