Any chances that the two hotpots (Mullins and Townend) could taste defeat?
Have no idea how Rachel’s book of rides looks like, but 12/1 could sound reasonable.
As for the trainers’ top table, I can’t see WPM getting turned over. With the distribution of the GE trained horses, the only one who might benefit a bit is HDB.
Any thoughts?
March 9, 2021 at 11:41 #1528791Cant see it. Only Elliot could have challenged Mullins and Sneezy has the Elliot yard but has lost Envoi Allen and Galvin.
March 9, 2021 at 12:03 #1528796Townend would need to get injured not to win
March 9, 2021 at 12:20 #1528799I thought Rachel mentioned something about her being part of the Mullins team.
March 9, 2021 at 13:13 #1528804Jack Kennedy has a proper book of rides –
Ballyadam, Zanahiyr/Quilixios (Possibly both if Quilixios goes Booodles), Envoi, Fakeira?, Bosses Oscar, Farclas, Minella Indo, Shattered Love, Whatever Sneezy has lined up for MP, Riviere D’etel, Run Wild Fred.
The amateurs not riding in the NHC & KM closes the gap between him and Townend, for all that it’s a very stale market to get involved with.
Rachel has very good chances with Bob Olinger, Honeysuckle & A Plus Tard. She’ll get a good ride off Mullins in the Ryanair I would think but she’ll be picking up small chances otherwise unless i’ve missed one or two out?
March 11, 2021 at 22:03 #1529111Got a few races i won’t be betting in this year so had a little dabble on the Prestbury Cup to be a draw @ 10/1. I don’t think that many Irish horses will be coming across this year and the UK team look ok overall. I don’t think it will be a whitewash what some are expecting.
