The Racing Post Weekender are featuring me as the first in a series profiling their readers from a punting point of view. I’ve had to answer a Q and A and give some tips for the week. TRF gets a namecheck (at least in my submitted copy)
Most of you will see it before me, as the Weekender doesn’t get over here until Thursday so will appreciate your comments!September 2, 2008 at 15:31 #179025Let’s hope ‘TRF’ makes it past the sub-editors
September 2, 2008 at 21:01 #179074Well done Carvs, look forward to reading it.

September 3, 2008 at 09:18 #179133Great piece Denis, well done! And I think you’ll give the readers a winner with African Rose; maybe they’ll have you on board permanently replacing Winstanley
September 3, 2008 at 10:36 #179145Cheers Scott- I won’t see it till tomorrow. Not sure if it’s a good or bad thing that Pietro Innocenzi went for an identical 123 in the Sprint Cup in his column in Trading Post today….
September 3, 2008 at 11:11 #179154If anyone can scan the article and email it to me I’d be more than grateful. Please PM me if you can do it, thanks.
September 3, 2008 at 11:52 #179157Yeah me too
September 3, 2008 at 12:34 #179163Good piece but should have hidden the boat frankly

And if you spend 3 hours a day on websites when you are supposed to be a vet, no way are you going near my cat.
September 3, 2008 at 16:50 #179186At least I can tip winners Clive- I’m hoping Faith and Reason today made it into the piece?

Re read your stuff today carvills and was excellent btw
September 4, 2008 at 01:28 #179307You have set a high standard Carvills, especially with your first tip! As usual I missed it, reading the article a few hours after the race had been run and having regrettably followed the favourite.
Loved the otpimism of the headline but more importantly you have suggested a few ways of gainfully employing the piece of cutting edge technology I am sat in front of at the moment.
September 4, 2008 at 09:22 #179322Just got round to reading this, and it is the best thing in the paper. Good work, Denis.
