I’m with Skiffle the supplemented Godolphin filly, she put in a good time at Goodwood over 10furlongs Good compared to several who run here and feel she has the speed required to make a race of it with Minding.
My each way bet has to be Harlequeen who impressed when coming from a long way back to be 2nd to Linguistic in the Tatts Millions at Newmarket on Good/Soft April 14th, a good race against the colts…looking forward to a great days racing..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 3, 2016 at 12:00 #1249305Skiffle looks too slow to me. She didn’t have the speed to catch the first two on debut then last time she didn’t look likely to win till half a furlong from home.
She needs the pace to collapse in front the race having been run at stupid fractions and I can’t see that happening.
June 3, 2016 at 12:09 #1249308Surely the danger to minding isn’t just the opposition but the distance
I thought lush lashes was a certainty in her oaks after she dotted up in the musidora, but she fell in a hole halfway up the epsom straight. She was bred along similar lines to the favourite as well being out of Galileo and more speedily bred on the dams side
June 3, 2016 at 13:20 #1249325Well I’m definitely in a minority of 1, with the comments over the past few weeks, but I still
expect a good run from ARCHITECTURE. I think 16/1 is very good e/w value. I’ve no doubt that
Minding is the class horse, I just think the run up to this race is not to her advantage, and
I still have reservations about her getting the trip. If she does win, after her preperation
for this, she would have to be some machine. No matter the result, I’m looking forward to seeing how she does, but hoping that Architecture
can do me a favour.Best of luck everyone
June 3, 2016 at 13:46 #1249329Position is key to the race, one place Moore dosent want to be is where he was then on Dark Red, he is a master but that was a very bad ride. If Minding is in a similar position she is in big trouble.
AROD should hose up in the next, havent backed anything bar Minding but he will be extremely difficult to beat.

Arod is a non runner.

Has to be Decorated Knight at 5/1 if I was to dabble…June 3, 2016 at 14:20 #1249338Absolute shocker there from Atzeni, stopped riding, think he thought he has it wrapped up.

Dark Red was slow out of the gate, Moore had no say in where Dark Red raced, what do you want Ryan to do Goreisking? Rush him around the whole field to race prominently?
imo Did the right thing in making ground slowly to be in a very similar position to What About Carlo rounding Tattenham Corner. Fact WAC finished well ahead of DR means he wouldn’t have won anyway.Value Is EverythingJune 3, 2016 at 14:34 #1249340Absolute shocker there from Atzeni, stopped riding, think he thought he has it wrapped up.
I backed Decorated Knight (and Custom Cut  ) and would’ve been a good winner for me. I didn’t see anything wrong with Atzeni’s ride. Did not “stop riding” and never had it “wrapped up”.
Just unlucky a first time visor did the trick for the winner. Just because a horse is apparently going best a furlong out does not mean it should win. Tullius found more off the bridle than Decorated Knight.Sounds as though you’re blaming jockeys whenever your horse doesn’t win Goreisking.

One horse race and she pi55ed all over them.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

6K UP! laughing to the bankJune 3, 2016 at 15:39 #1249350Smashing performance by Minding! Nice to have a Guineas-Oaks double after so long! Well done @Sea-BirdII, what were the odds on your double?
She certainly stayed; keen to see Minding against the older horses now as this year’s three-year-olds seem rather uninspiring.
I really hope Diamonds Pour Moi is okay!
June 3, 2016 at 15:45 #1249351Jockeys should get them out the gate, also Decorated Knight he stopped riding last strides. Also not “my horses” because I wouldnt back in class 6.
June 3, 2016 at 15:47 #1249352Congratulations to those who kept the faith with Minding. I took a small chance on Architecture each way so not too disappointed with that result either.
June 3, 2016 at 15:48 #1249353I got 8/1 on the Guineas/Oaks Double. I also backed her at 6/4, 13/8 and 6/4 again today.
As I said on the forum, I also backed her at 25/1 for the Arc De Triomphe and she is now between 12/1 and 4/1 for that race. I doubt the 12/1 will last.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 3, 2016 at 15:48 #1249354Hat’s off to Minding and the connections, she looks an exceptional filly.
I’m more than happy with Architecture’s 2nd, she showed she is a very decent
filly too. The 2 of them ran away with it, but no doubting Minding was the
star of the show.Darren, I think you were the only other one on Architecture, a long while
back at a very decent price, well done with that mate
