Could be a dangerous move to take on the 2yo Jedi Master Trainer Sean Woods Meng Tiang in the Nottingham race but that horse should have won on debut but as soon as he hit the front 1/2f from home he stopped and let the beaten horse come back and beat him. Possibly a horse to avoid and ungenuine. Certainly wouldn’t touch him at odds on here but no doubt he is the best horse in the race so no surprise if he wins but Hannon and Leavy have won the last 2 runnings of this race and there 2yos are in good form so this should be a genuine contender and on this occasion Darth Vader can beat Luke Skywalker.

3 Point Win – COME QUICK 9/4 (bet365)
Looks a two horse race between Come Quick and Kevin Ryan’s Odds on shot Smullen.
3 main reasons tip the scales in the favour of Come Quick for me. Burke has an excellent record with his 2yos at Pomtefract, being drawn 1 on the rail is a big advantage here as long as he gets a decent break. Come Quicks father won his only race at Pontefract so it’s hopefully in this horses genes to enjoy this track. Full brother to 2yo winning sprinter. Catch him if you can. Should be favourite for me and expect him to win.

1 Point EW RADIO CAROLINE 16/1
2 horse race according to the market between Clive Cox and Archie Watson but the price on Radio Caroline is very nice and this horse shouldn’t be ruled out and could certainly win.
Her father Sixties Icon won his maiden at Windsor as a 3yo (unraced at 2), her mother was nothing special but was trained by Channon and this is her first foal. She is a nice early February foal and Channons 2yos have started well with 2 of his 3 turf runners placing, hopefully this one will be his first winner of the season. Looks an interesting alternative to the two shorties at the head of the market.P&L = +9

2 shorties tomorrow so doubling them up. No problems whatsoever expected here. Point-Shoot-Collect. That simple.

Should be favourite. Market has this horse all wrong.
I’m that confident of a profit today that if no profit is made I will allow the NHS to scrape my blood brain barrier with one of their cancer causing Covid tests, I will then take the depopulation jab from Pfizer in my left arm, The Astra Zeneca in my right arm and the Johnson and Johnson one in my buttock whilst wearing a cancer causing and bacterial pneumonia causing Face Nappy. As you can tell confidence is sky high.

1 Point Win – ALDEBOURNE 10/1MOHI should be very hard to beat here but beware the horse finishing fast and late under Oisin Murphy. MOHI should surely be no bigger than 11/8 to take care of this rabble, Oisin is on standby to take advantage if the unthinkable happened and MOHI fluffs his lines.

2 20 Southwell SAHARA SPEAR 3/13 point win Double
Love De Vega should win this race fairly easily and pull clear of this field. No problems at all expected here.
The Southwell race is a little trickier but Sahara Spear showed ability on debut and should improve greatly for that run. His dam has never produced a horse who has lost at Southwell. Granted only one of her 3 offspring have ran at Southwell but he won both races here by 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 lengths so we can be confident that Sahara will thrive under today’s conditions and prove hard to beat.
1st leg let’s the double down so have to have an extra bet

1 Point Win – WAR OF COURAGE 33/1The Gatekeeper should be very hard to beat here but War Of Courage is an interesting runner and could provide Haynes with her first 2yo winner. Entered in a strong class 3 Newmarket maiden on Sunday but chosen to come to this easier race, lots of speed in pedigree and the 3lb he gets from the two market leaders could be made to count. The big priced outsider must not be ruled out under Rossa ‘The Bossa’ Ryan.
The Brocklesby form is gash which makes Chipotle of no interest, and although there has been a lot of money for Jamie Osbournes Wrought Iron this looks like a foolish gamble and he should be plum last here.2 00 Pontefract

Outrageous price on the Showcasing colt in a race that is there for the taking. 7/2 would look a fair price, 18/1 looks a gift from the gods.

3 Point Win – MOJOMAKER 8.0 bf 3 To Be PlacedThe 2021 Lily Agnes Stakes produces the first DOUBLE MAXIMUM 6 points staked bet of the season. MOJOMAKER appears to be one of the greatest early season 2yo bets of all time. Sensational does not do enough to describe this flying machine.
Armor now a non runner so major rule 4 factored in and only 3 rivals to beat.
Betfair have reduced the odds and give me 49.0 on the win, 8.0 on the 2tpb and 2/1 on the 3tbp.
Shame that Armor isn’t running as he was going to get done in by the magical mojo machine.
Navello is the most experienced in the line up with 2 wins from 3 races. The wins came at notorious dog tracks Brighton and Wolverhampton at class 6 and class 5 novice level. Big step up in class today and likely to come up short. Best drawn in stall 1 but he is yet to break fast from his 3 runs and can miss the break completely so the 1 stall could easily turn out to be the worst stall if he can’t break fast and take advantage of it. Outclassed and out with the washing.
Devious Angel is the only filly and fillies have a good record in this race. Dascombe fancies her chances and does well at this meeting so she is potentially a dangerous horse here, made all on the fibresand last time and open to improvement but if she were to win she would be the first Lily Agnes winner in history to come via a fibresand run. Totally different type of race today and although she could end up winning, she is vulnerable here and is untouchable at short odds.
Beauzon looks the biggest danger to the Mojo Machine. Trainers in form, 2yos are flying, trainer does well at this meeting. February Colt, showed improvement when making all at Ripon last time. Could be hard to peg back here. Currently available at 8.0 on betfair which is mind blowing as he should surely be 2nd fav to the monster Mojo. A proper upside down market in this race.
MOJOMAKER is drawn 7 but with only 4 runners and the horse drawn in 1 potentially missing the break then the draw is not of any issue at all and will be no excuse. No debutant has won this race (this century at least) but debutants can and do win these types of races so don’t let that put you off.
Beautifully bred for pure speed, his father made his racecourse debut at Chester as a 2yo, had a car park draw of stall 9, was held up and still won pulling double. MOJOMAKER appears to have a phenomenal chance of doing what his father did and winning at Chester on debut. The oldest horse in the field being a January foal. Trainer can get the right ones ready first time and this is clearly the right one. Loughnane could have found a much easier race for Mojo to make his debut in so the fact they are running here tells us they rate him highly and he must have a chance. Reported to be working well at home and very speedy this must take the world of beating. Hopefully a fair break and sit in behind the trailblazers and penny drops late on and he will fly home.Surely even Stevie Wonder could see that MOJOMAKER looks a good thing here?
