I saw Noland run his first race in a Wincanton bumper. Absolutely stood out in the paddock and went to have one of my extremely rare debut bets. Trouble was the bookies knew about him too, so I did not back it. Won well and have kept an eye on him since.
Probably has the potential to make a top novice chaser.
Backed him in the Supreme but do think he was a little lucky there. Did not seem to have enough pace for most of the race. Stayed on over the last two flights making up ground hand over fist to get up to beat Straw Bear. Have this race in mind when thinking about the Arkle. Something confirmed by the race today. Against the best horses I doubt whether he has enough pace for two miles over fences. For some reason it seems to me horses need more speed over fences at two miles than when hurdling.

I’m sure there are many, like me, who’d be far more impressed if you’d occasionally put up a winning bet before the race. You have made 3 contributions to this thread; on each one managing to introduce another one of your super after-timers.
Like your previous obsession with the table of odds, it is getting a little tedious and actually achieving absolutely s.f.a., apart from bringing this forum down to the level of its Betfair counterpart.
    For God’s sake, give us a break. .

The more dangers there are the less likely it is you should be betting each-way, not the other way around.
