Think these two are interesting

2.15 Newbury – Edraak 5/2 – hosed up last time while looking like a proper horse, change to turf should be fine given breeding (didn’t run great on debut on turf but can be forgiven), just think 5/2 is too big for a horse with proven form this year – admittedly might not have beaten much – but the way the horse put its foot down once the whip came out made me believe the horse is a proper animal.

3.00 Newbury – Franconia 5/2 – Frankel horse, will improve for the step up to 1m2f (and turf) having raced well enough over 7f on debut. Issue could be fitness as she hasn’t had a run since paula radcliffe but the gosden form somewhat puts that hesitation to bed.
