    Just seen this and cant stop the tears ..such a dreadful shock to lose this beautuful horse..
    Run free beautiful boy, so fragile RIP

    Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...

    So sad. I just heard it announced on ITV Racing, I had no idea before then. The second horse in a week from the Varian stable to die on the gallops too. There is a story on the Racing Post, though it doesn’t say exactly what happened:

    Awful news. Desperately sad for the yard after losing Mountain Angel a few days ago. Lovely words in tribute in the articles, he was much loved by all.

    He seems to have been around forever and always tried his best, often at the highest level. Devastating for his connections. I was disappointed when they decided to geld him as he was one of the better sons of my old favourite Dalakhani and I’d hoped he’d find a role at stud eventually
