We are pleased to confirm that this year’s Daylight Cup Quarter Final Draw will be conducted by Timeform Radio’s Form & Betting Expert and TRFs very own Rory.
We shall also be holding a Newmarket/Guineas Quiz night which jinnyj has kindly provided the question for – so we our hoping you can make it to to test your knowledge.
Also, should any of you wish to join together to form a team please feel free to do so – I hear Ken (West Derby) is trying to get together with Rory, Graysonscolumn and Rob North

The Draw and Quiz will start at 9.00pm
Well Done to all that have qualified for the Quarter Finals and the best of luck in the remaining competition.

April 27, 2010 at 12:48 #292762I will stake my reputation on someone with a name beginning with the letter ‘M’ for money reaching the semi-finals. In fact I’m so confident that, if I am proven wrong, I will send five pounds to everyone who enters tonight’s quiz competition.

April 28, 2010 at 08:42 #292889It’s a shame Rory didn’t conduct the last draw as i was stitched up by Ken(West Derby) the draw master of the last round as he had PM’d me saying unless i agree to pay him a very large undisclosed fee he would make sure i would be getting eliminated from the cup, i ignored this message and guess what my name comes out the hat to play against the invincible Doublethetrouble.
Good luck to those left in the draw.

Just to confirm, there will be more than one question in the quiz
April 28, 2010 at 13:12 #292939That’s a shame. I had visions of me boasting that I lost the quiz competition by the narrowest of margins and right on the final question.
And there was I thinking that Jinny J spent weeks studiously pouring over horse racing encyclopedias to eventually come up with the one definitive question of all time.
As for Nathan’s comment. What do you expect old boy? If you don’t come up with the dosh then don’t be surprised to receive the Kenny cosh. Same goes for Aaronizeez and Jimjts, both short favourites but they failed to deliver the cash so I had no option but to ditch them good style. I don’t want other TRF’ers thinking I’m a softee now, do I? You mess with me and you end up a mess in hospital. Comprenez vous?

KAnd if your unlucky enough not to get the hospital option then its the glue factory instead.

April 28, 2010 at 13:41 #292943Nathan, who’s your money on to be the eventual winner? I reckon there’s not a lot in it, they’re all in with a decent shout and so were you until you let the cat out of the bag about piggy-backing.
April 28, 2010 at 20:29 #293001It is 9.29pm and very quiet (only Ken lurking) in the chat room. Have I got the right place?

You did Adrian – not sure we had the critical mass to get a quiz going though.
April 28, 2010 at 21:18 #293007Couldn’t make it guys, hopefully CC still has the Q’s and we can run the comp on a Sunday night?
