Golf bets this week start with Texas open then Shenzen international.

    CHRIS KIRK 55/1

Over the last month the captain been getting into form got beat by Rory in matchplay and was playing well last week has decent form here was t8th here last year and think he most likely to win

    BILLY HORSCHEL 35/1

Billy not won since winning fed ex cup bonus 10 million dollars but week in and week he starting to pick up his form and may be ready to win again. Was 3rd here last year and 3rd in 2013 expect him to go well.

    BROOKS KOEPKA 25/1

Of the names near top of the market Brooks one to be on even though makes debut here i think with his power he take to this course very well. And can adapt to any new course he plays for first time as well.

    SCOTT PINKNEY 150/1

Was t8 here last year he not won on tour yet but is a player with lot of potential in last month has shown a bit to but then fades away think he do ok this week.

    MATT JONES 175/1

Australian players do well here in Texas look at Scott,Bowditch and while this season not gone to plan for Jones since he won PGA title in Australia where he held off Jordan Speith maybe the texas air will spring him into form like other aussies before him.

    For Shenzen

    BUBBA WATSON 6/1

Last year was first time at this course and was a week before Augusta now with it now 2weeks before Augusta Bubba a great chance this week suit him well courses in far east they favour big hitters Bubba a winner in Asia before with HSBC event can take this prize home

    PETER UIHLEIN 33/1

A bit worried about this bet while in China someone has stolen his putter he tweeted that this morning not great that. But apart from that i fancy him this week a big hitter who been starting events well before fading. While a tussle with Bubba not ideal for him i see him in top5 this week.

    THORBJORN OLESEN 40/1

Return to form in Qatar this year for big hitting dane play well in dubai desert classic as well. And can improve again by going close here in Asia this week to.

    BRANDON STONE 80/1

Taken a break can return to top form this week a big hitter from South Africa who won on tour already won SA Open and can take a shine to this course which will suit him well i think he do very well here i do.

    RENATO PARATOE 250/1

A young player from Italy who is a big hitter shown up well in early part of the year last season has shown the odd bit of form in 2016 off the 3 figure prices he the one i like.

Ok, just a few hours till The Shenzhen International kicks off.

JAMES MORRISON had a horror couple of rounds in this last year, for an 8 over par
and a missed cut. He had gone into the competition in poor form so it wasn’t unexpected.
He picked up the following month when he won the Open De Espana and although he didn’t
win again last year, he had some decent efforts, 2nd in the French Open and 7th in the
US PGA and and 7 top 20 finishes. He goes in to this in much better form this year, having
finished 4th in the Open De Espana. If he can carry that forward he has a decent shout this
week at 66/1 with PP, both for outright and 1st round leader.

ROSS FISHER is a good player on his day, and was T15 in this last year. Similar to Morrison,
he is going into this in good form having finished T6 in the same tournament, the Open De
Espana. He won’t have the same strength of opposition in this, although Bubba Watson is
rightly the favourite, and if he finds his A game, the rest can go home now. I’m taking a
chance that Bubba isn’t firing on all cylinders after not performing the way he can in The
Masters. Fisher is 20/1 outright, and Betfred go a very generous 28/1 1st round leader.

I’ll stick with both of those and if all is not going well I’ll have a bet in-running. I
seem to have had more luck with my in-running bets of late, maybe I should just wait until
    the tournament is underway

Good luck in the Shenzhen this week Darren, I see you have missed this one out this week
Raymo, maybe you might have a go in-running later.

In the Texas Open, my idea of the winner is J.B. Holmes. This Greg Norman course
is designed to make hitting the greens difficult, and a short game is crucial to
have a chance of a putt. Holmes short game is in great form right now as he showed
in his final round 68 at the Masters. In his last 10 starts he has had 4 top ten and
7 top 20 finishes. 25/1 outright betting 7 places with Paddy Power is a steal. 35/1
5 places in the 1st round betting with Willie Hill isn’t to be sniffed at either.

PATRICK REED is another player that has huge potential at just short of his 26th birthday.
I fully expected him, after his win in the Hyundai Championship at the start of last year,
to go on and win a few tournaments and challenge in the Majors. His problem, to me anyway,
is that he has a bit of an attitude problem. He needs to not get carried away with himself
and just get his head down and get on with it. He’s been consistently there or thereabouts
and with a bit more self control he could get the job done this week. 22/1 outright and 30/1
1st round leader are both reasonable bets.

As in the Shenzhen International, I’ll stick with 2 from the off, and if things don’t go well
    I’ll have 1 or 2 in-running in the 2nd half.

    Good luck guys :good:

Aaaarrggghhhh, it was looking good for a while…… James Morrison, who I had
at 66/1 for 1st round leader, was 5 under, one off the lead with 3 holes to play.
I thought at worst I would get the e/w and hopefully he might pick up a birdie
or 2 in the last three holes. The next I checked he had double bogeyed the 16th,
followed with a bogey at the 17th.

He’s still well placed at 2 under, along with my other pick Ross Fisher, but for
a moment I could see £660 dangling before my eyes. Oh well, back to the drawing
    board

As you guys know I normally bet a couple to leave me a couple to bet in-running.
I’ll need to get into the habit of declaring them or I’ll end up after timing
    too often.

In the Shenzen, my two, Morrison and Fisher are out so I’ll put up that I’m
taking the 12/1 on Joost Luiten who is one off the lead at 13 under having
played 15 holes. There are 3 at 14 under who have more holes to play, but I
think Luiten has the bottle to take this, he birdied the last 4 holes on day
    2. 12/1 is a fair bet to give me a bit of interest. Darkness stopped the final
round which should start again near midnight our time on Sunday.

I should have put up that I took Ricky Barnes in-running to finish 3rd round
leader in the Texas Open ………

    23/04/2016 GBP 30.00 Single: RICKY BARNES @ 12/1 Returns: £390.00
EVENT SELECTION PRICE E/W TERMS RESULT STATUS
    Valero Texas Open
Valero Texas Open 2016 – Outright In Running
3rd Round Leader – IR Tournament
    Ricky Barnes 12/1 EW1/5 1,2,3 Won Settled
Bet ID: 59190276700 00:00 Bet Type: Single Stake: £ 30.00

I still have Patrick Reed at 8 under, 3 off the lead so hopeful he can get a
return for me, but if not then Barnes made this a good week for me.

Good luck with Horschel still in the hunt at 7 under Darren and Raymo your man
Baddeley isn’t out of it yet at 6 under, but both, like Reed, need cracking
    final rounds.

FABIO FOGNINI 16/1 To win ATP Munich open

With Dominic Thiem talking about feeling tired and Monfils not one to trust same comments apply to Fognini but play well in Barcelona last week lost to Nadal and that decent week for Fabio can mean a good week here decent draw as well.

NICK KYRIGOS 100/30 To win ATP Estroli open

Has improved so much this year and while a faster surface suit him better he can perform on clay lost to Murray in final in Munich last year man to beat this week.

    Any bets nath

Sorry Darren I didn’t remember you had Stone. I’ve done ok this weekend so I’m

I’m gutted for you Darren, that was an inspired pick at 80/1 with STONE. I’m sure
you will have him e/w so it’s still a good winner, but I really hoped for you that
he would get his head in front.

Well done mate getting the place, but that must have been painful to watch at the end,
he was so near until Lee rolled in that eagle on the 17th.

My bets in golf this week at China open and Zurich classic.Start in china

    HAYDEN PORTEOUS 100/1

A young South african player went close to winning in Asia last week but Stone came up short. But Porteous who in same league as that player can win here this week. While he not play well last week he not be as tired as some these players and can make a big run here

    BERND WEISBERGER 16/1

He should be around same price as Joost Luiten but i take 16s for him a big hitter who has fine record in Asia he loves these layouts in Asia. And play ok in America this year to.Back on European tour he main danger to Porteous

    RITCHIE RAMSAY 50/1

Has started to hit form over the last month or so and he is a player i like while big hutters thrive here Ramsay show enough last week to suggest he can shine here to.

    MATTEO MANNASERO 175/1

Had shown hardly anything but then last week at halfway stage was up near top of leaderboard so for me i think he is starting to find his form and he won in Asia before so likes in this part of the world.
