Darren, I’m surprised to see Brazel still there, but I was shocked by Rafa’s 3rd round.
He’s had one bogey in the 1st 2 rounds, then he hits 4 and a double
I didn’t
see that coming. I can’t imagine Brazel will have what it takes to win this, even with
his reasonable T15 last time in the Australian PGA (famous last words), his history
isn’t impressive. I’d have to think that Rafa should see this through, although if he
has another round like the last one he won’t. If there’s someone who is capable of
shooting really low there could be a shock on here. I think of those within touching
distance, your man Lipsky would be most likely to pull it off if Rafa wilts. I wish I
had your 50/1, but I’ll settle for a few quid on at 12/1. I hope one of yours come up
trumps, but it would be nice for both of us if Lipsky was the man
BigG and Raymo had 15 winners this year 2 more than last year so overall a good year but how Rafa not win it today those bogey and double bogey today cost him.
Well done this year Darren, but no luck at all this week. I thought Rafa had blown it,
then when he got level after 17 I thought he had clawed his way back, but then Brazel
(who I gave no hope to) birdied the last. I even thought our bet on Lipsky was looking
good at one point, he was favourite briefly, but that fell through too. I’ve not had a
good weekend, horses or golf, lets hope next week is better to us
