Well, that happens when the heat wave comes unexpected and the jumping boys don’t know what to expect. Buckets of water at the end of every race don’t really help that much.
At least they had the brains to abandon the 3m2f race and the rest will be hopefully run when the heat eases a little bit.

Absolute speculation, horses drop dead in cold weather too. Until the results of the post mortem are available then I think we should reserve judgement on anything and everything.
