Plenty of the usual suspects here, and of those, Vanilier caught the eye with his plummeting mark, and he’ll certainly need to sort that mark out if he’s to head to Aintree.
The real standout though is Favori De Champdou. Reckon this’ll be a sighter round here with a view to March. Could be an interesting recruit to this discipline
Looking to bet a couple of outsiders, and went J’Arrive de L’Est, and Unanswered Prayers.
J’Arrive an interesting recruit for Emmet Mullins, and low mileage type that looks to have enough ability, and 25’s looks fair. Worth the risk, even in the knowledge it might be a more speculative entry.
I’ve only bet Unanswered Prayers once before, and he was very poor, but yard having a good season, and though you could argue he deserves to be 25’s, I’ve taken it.
At a huge price, I’d consider Peaches and Cream if he appeared
Edit – Laid J’Arrive, but just enough to add Peaches and Cream, and to get free race. Haven’t actually bet Peaches yet, will do so Friday
J’Arruve De L’Est 25’s (Laid 4.2’s)
Peaches and Cream
Unanswered Prayets 25’sDecember 9, 2025 at 12:06 #1747073I found this to be a tough race to read, and I was planning on leaving it alone. In the end though I’m going with The Big Breakaway 50-1, who is very unpredictable, but occasionally puts it all in. I might even see 66-1, 100-1 if confirmed
December 10, 2025 at 18:46 #1747174Final Orders at 10-1 does me fine here

December 11, 2025 at 12:45 #1747227Favori De Champdou is my win bet at 16-1, but I will also have an ew on The Big Breakaway at 33-1 ew 5 plcs
December 11, 2025 at 14:08 #1747235Favori De Champdou 18/1 win only (boosted price)
December 11, 2025 at 22:58 #1747306“Whatever Keith Donoghue is on” is kind of a no brainer so I’ve joined Silver Spoon on Final Orders. I’ll probably add Amirite tomorrow- he likes decent ground, stays, Henry’s horses can jump, got to keep his mark up to get in the National and Darragh O’Keeffe started off with Enda Bolger and has plenty of XC experience.
December 12, 2025 at 10:17 #1747323Mister Coffey ew 5 places
December 12, 2025 at 11:46 #1747329Mister Coffey must surely win one of these eventually and while it would be ace for it to come at the Festival I can just see it happening today.
Iceo Madrik is worth a go at a slightly bigger price. He was well thought of before the Festival and he’ll come good in one of these one day.
December 12, 2025 at 12:28 #1747331Mr Coffey – finally!

Nice price, as well.December 12, 2025 at 15:11 #1747349Thanks Wilts. Keith Donoghue is so good over the XC jumps. The picture of serenity for the last mile.

December 12, 2025 at 16:25 #1747360Well done Silver Spoon and Greenasgrass.
Bobby, unlucky there. Some gamble.
December 14, 2025 at 14:56 #1747563Unreal Joe, got a free race out of him, but I’ll no lie, that was small consolation at the time lol
