June 3, 2006 at 18:20 #95849What is there to say? I’m shocked and very sad at this time, I regarded Craig as a mate of mine and watched him build the forum from day one and kept in touch via email from time to time, I also met him when he brought Gloaming (the then syndicate horse) up to Hamilton and we had a great time, he was a very likeable guy and we talked about the forum and the old times, he was in a bit of a rush that day but he emailed me when he got home to appologise for not staying longer and he said he’d do it again sometime but hang around a bit longer and make a day of it. :(
Debs, I’m really choked and not sure what I can say to you, will you please email me when you feel up to it as I’d like to say a bit more.
I’m gonna miss Craig, bigtime :(

June 3, 2006 at 18:56 #95855Such sad news.
I only got to meet Craig once, when Celeritas ran at Newmarket, but I considered him a friend and have really enjoyed our relationship on TRF.
Many people in racing have made great friends thanks to Craig’s efforts to run such a happy and intelligent forum. Our world will be a lesser place without him.
My heart felt condolences to Debs and family,
Best wishes,
Adrian
June 3, 2006 at 19:18 #95856I would also like to offer my condolences. Daylight helped me out a lot on TRF and will always be thankful to him for that.
June 3, 2006 at 19:38 #95857Like everyone else I’m very sorry indeed to hear this.
33 is no age.
June 3, 2006 at 19:50 #95858I can’t really believe what I’m reading, this is so sad.
I only met Craig once, and it’s a few years ago now, but then and throughout the time I’ve known him on the forum he’s been a lovely guy, loyal and fair with a great sense of humour, and always ran this forum for the right reasons – to let people who really enjoy the sport to meet and talk. For that we all owe him.
Debs, I can’t imagine how you feel, but my thoughts are with you and and your family, and if there’s anything at all I can do for you please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
June 3, 2006 at 19:50 #95859I`m very sorry to hear this,my deepest sympathy and condolences.
June 3, 2006 at 19:51 #95860Debs & Luke.
I have sat here for the past hour typing out my condolences but i just cannot get the words right, they just can’t express just how so very very sorry i am for you both pet.
He really was a great fella, he went out of his way for this place and in doing so enabled so many good friendships to be made and for that he can be thanked and remembered.
A hug to you both and condolences to the family.

June 3, 2006 at 20:24 #95861Like everybody else I am absolutely stunned at this news. I met Craig a few years ago at John Cullinan’s yard and it doesn’t seem possible that this can have happened.
My sincere condolences to Deb and the family
