It’s really soft there’s a chance the GC horses could leave there chances here , Skeltons horse should win in conditions but the front 2 could have a right war

I’ve gone for DUSART who likely has more in tank than we have seen so far. Sounds Russian was just pipped in their race at Ayr, the pair were well clear, and I’ll have a small reverse Exacta on the two.

Ahoy Senor is turning into the ultimate cliff horse for a lot of punters – and I am not following them over the cliff.

No bet for me but I hope Protektorat wins without leaving his Gold Cup chance behind here.

Noble Yeats, in a double with Henri The Second (3.35).
A very small sentimental wager on Frodon, as well.
Best of luck today to all :good:

Hopefully the jockeys will have the wit to just get racing over the last rather than getting into a Thistlecrack/Many Clouds style all out war far from home.

Have contented myself with the Paddy Power offer and backed Energumene for the Clarence House just to get a free fiver to put on Protektorat.

Do the words wit and Harry Skelton go in the same sentance , I’ve played Noble purely based on that he may outstay him

Rose tinted glasses on, I had to have a bit on Frodon @ 14s – although the trip is probably stretching him he is a Cheltenham specialist as he has won most of his races there (6 from 15 and two places).

Well done Joe , you got your day , I imagine Nicholls will be just as happy as Russell , BMG has beaten him convincingly twice this season

    Well well.
Well done Joe, I didn’t know what you saw in him as I had written off his jumping but it was enough to do.
Noble Yeats came up the hill pretty well.

Fair play to him. And a nice win for Lucinda Russell given the circumstances.

Looks like they did not go fast enough for Noble Yeats. I think he is still a player in the Gold Cup.

No getting away from a very disappointing effort by Protektorat.

Don’t see a Gold Cup winner in that race to be fair, winners jumping will be found out in a Gold Cup where they will be going quicker….Noble Yeats was hopelessly outpaced from the top of the hill and if we had a Master Oats type year at Cheltenham he would have a chance but surely the Grand National should be his main target.
