What are management thinking, £37 entry for the Gordon enclousre.
Probably what is called market forces?
July 5, 2011 at 12:27 #363639Sadly Paul, you are right.
I am a member at Goodwood and the Tatts area is always packed at this meeting. Which is no doubt why they’ve upped prices again. £37 or £185 for the 5 days is expensive, especially when members pay £299 for the year. But when there are thousands willing to pay exorbitant prices, you can’t blame Goodwood for charging the "going rate".It may even be wise for those paying on the day to get there early on wednesday. Might be sold out.

Indeed.
It was £42 for the Premier Enclosure on Northumberland Plate Day at Newcastle and there was no shortage of takers.

Credit to Goodwood for a very good offer. £18.50 per ticket against £37 per ticket makes a huge difference and I’ve booked today for the Tuesday and Wednesday. Market forces, indeed.
