Lostintranslation has conditions to suit, goes well fresh, is down to a handy mark and has 7lb taken off by his rider. I’ve been waiting for him to show up and while I’m surprised it’s in this; I’m more than happy to have a go at a nice price.
Fanion D’Estruval has stamina to prove and top weight to defy (minus a useful 5lb taken off), but I can’t stop looking at him. Another nice price to boot.
November 26, 2022 at 09:22 #1624540Busselton is my idea of the winner but I also cannot resist Potterman at 66/1 in first time headgear.
November 26, 2022 at 10:11 #1624544I can’t lie about Our Power being a non runner, as I was very hopeful. He’s a nice horse though and I will bet him again this season.
Busselton at 8-1 is my replacement, but I’m still rooting for my other horse Fiddlerontheroof as my big hope
November 26, 2022 at 10:50 #1624569My ew 2…
Corach Rambler 7-1 AP.
Remastered. 5 places.Good luck all.
November 26, 2022 at 11:47 #1624588While I’m happy that Oscar Elite is probably ahead of his mark, he does have a rather rounded action. I’m looking to add something else that should enjoy the quicker going, and if Annsam doesn’t get too lathered up in the preliminaries I’ll add him ew.
I should get a run for my money anyway- he has plenty of scope even if he is rather gormless. He’s not a bad jumper just a bit dim perhaps. He doesn’t seem to measure his stride, then is mildly surprised when he meets one wrong and doesn’t try to do much about it just takes off and hopes for the best. But he has a bit of an engine and should stay, and as long as he doesn’t make any really shuddering mistakes or pull his chance away like an idiot, hopefully he’ll still be in there pitching at the business end.

Annsam (a free bet)Best of luck to all today
November 26, 2022 at 14:30 #1624680Remastered is a fairly hefty Antepost for me, so decided to lay a wee bit back for a small profit on the race, just because of how low he’s went, and I’ll add that back.
Corach Rambler or Gericault Roque will be added as a sensible win backup from that profit, but just over half an hour before the off, and I still can’t make my mind up. Considering he was probably my #1 for this three years ago, I just have to cover Diablo Du Rouhet, with Henderson running him from out the handicap. Unlikely, but I’d be sick as a dog if he did it. Can’t possibly put him up as a selection, considering the sentimentaly, and lack of evidence that he has a shout, but I have to cover the possibility.
Fanion D’Estruval is a very interesting contender given the options they had in the yard.
Corach Rambler 12’s EW
Diablo Du Rouhet 80’s EW

November 26, 2022 at 15:21 #1624703Shame Corach blundered in the straight. 2 out i think. Was running on turbo boost style but that mistake halted his momentum.
Wd winners.
November 26, 2022 at 15:22 #1624704Good race and another fine winner for the Skeltons. Well done everyone on Remastered as well, he ran a stomer.
November 26, 2022 at 15:25 #1624706Unlucky , I reckon the loose horse helped the winner a lot
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 26, 2022 at 15:25 #1624707A case of “follow the money”.
2 weekends in a row the Skeltons plunder the Big Saturday race.November 26, 2022 at 22:48 #1624774Corach Rambler is worth following this season. They are only playing with ths horse at this point.
