Could Gaelic Warrior end up in this?
Mullins knows what mark to expect now.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 18, 2023 at 22:39 #1631493Gaelic Warrior has so many entries he could end up running in two races by mistake
I think it depends if Willie rates Impaire Et Passe or Champ Kiely a better prospect for the Ballymore.
He seems to think Facile Vega is his best novice so he could easily be the only bullet in the Supreme
9/2 NRNB with Hills is not too bad. He’s 7 top price but I can see him being 9/2 top price or even shorter if confirmed for this.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 18, 2023 at 22:59 #1631502He started something mad like 13/8 last year and he’s a better horse now, so that could well be right.

I have no doubts he’ll get further but would you go up in trip first time at the Festival ie the Ballymore or at least have a prep at the distance beforehandGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

That is what Mullins did with Sir Gerhard last season.
January 19, 2023 at 10:30 #1631528Sir Gerhard had previously run in a 3 mile point to point though

January 19, 2023 at 10:53 #1631530I don’t think p2ps are much of an indication of stamina personally
Some of the horses that win these p2ps wouldn’t stay that far in a horse box in a proper race now
They must jog around most of the time

6 minutes 15 seconds on yielding to soft about 17 or so seconds slower than the King George ran on soft
I’m laughing at the prices.
Nearly as bad as Nathbet…

January 21, 2023 at 14:15 #1631800HMS Seahorse won well at Navan today and Paul Nolan confirmed this is the target.
He ran well in the juvenile handicap last season and must have a fair chance here.
January 21, 2023 at 14:44 #1631806I was on HMS Seahorse today; 12s and some 14s about for the Coral Cup. 365 still havent him in the betting

February 5, 2023 at 17:16 #1634121Ballyadam @ 16/1 NRNB
A nice run today and hoping a step up in trip can do the trick. A few points bigger would of been nice but NRNB is worth it.
February 5, 2023 at 17:24 #1634127Might i is my play for this
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 2, 2023 at 16:31 #1637548Ballyadam to me is definitely a bit of a muggy horse, he’ll just always cost you. I will bet him here though if he is declared, and I’ve a feeling he’ll be one of my more serious punts if he is. 20-1 ap price though, so no thanks right now
March 8, 2023 at 23:10 #1638213Won’t want heavy rain but I can’t see many safer e/w bets all festival than the favourite, Camprond at 7/1, in this.
March 10, 2023 at 00:15 #1638318EDIT – had posted about Langer Dan but realised he’s going for the Martin Pipe instead.
And on reflection I’m not convinced in my above post re Camprond any more, the more I look through the race the less he looks like good value, way too short imo.
March 10, 2023 at 06:44 #1638329I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Winter Fog was the top weight in this. He’s an alright horse I suppose but if he’s officially the ‘best’ horse in this race before they get handicapped then this is not much of a race as Cheltenham handicaps go.
