Interesting thoughts on Acapella B- owners not averse to a bit of a plot and would love a Cheltenham winner I expect. He had a fair few chase entries this year so must have been sound enough to be in training all winter; if he missed them because of the ground at least it avoided too much attention being drawn to his hurdles mark.

Farclas also v interesting- Triumph horse that the trainer said at the very start of the season wanted a trip, been cantering inconspicuously round on big occasions over 2 miles finishing at a respectful distance.

Lil Rockefeller does indeed rock up here  More importantly, Tully East does :yahoo:

I wonder if they left Lil Rockefeller in incase conditions worsen? I’ll hold off for now as prices tend to inflate between now and the day of and 6 places is a luxury worth taking.

There are about 8/9 who I’d give a realistic chance to, so to save the headache I’ll likely just stay sentimental!

Wicklow Brave 20/1 with 7 places looks good to me after today’s events

Calie du Mesnil 25-1 EW 6 places with boylesports off a featherweight and
    Scarpeta 22-1 EW 7pl w PaddyP
are my 2 for this. On account of the trainer and the ground.

    Tully East already punted.

    Dancing On My Own 16/1
Good form behind Klassical Dream etc, think this step up in trip is perfect and mark is fair.

    Calie Du Mesnil 22/1
Really liked that last run behind Martin Pipe favourite DDP. Katie is worth her 5 claim and off 130, she’s overpriced her IMO.

Killultagh Vic is the one i looked at the other day at 25s but i couldn’t have his last run. Be sick if he wins this.

Agree re CdM jockey- already has a decent handicap hurdle on her CV when winning on Low Sun at the Galway festival which is not the easiest course to ride.

Apple’s Shakira the overall value with Vision Des Flos a close second. I’ll back both

Good luck Joe, I did look at her, but at one stage, I was betting about 19 in this, so I had to put a stop to it thankfully.

Added Kilultagh Vic last night, so I’ll happily go with this trio, and I won’t punish myself too much if Uradel wins, which I think he might.

    Farclas 20’s NRNB
    Kilultagh Vic 22’s
    Lil Rockerfeller 33’s EW NRNB

I will stay once again loyal with Lil Rockefeller at 33/1 EW. Ground and trip are fine and he ran some decent races around Cheltenham. He will probably make the running and I hope he will avoid any carnage and get at least placed. Also added Highest Sun at 20/1 EW. Only a 5 year old and progressing during the season. Fine form behind Didtheyleavouttu, Thomas Derby and Al Dancer. Stepping up in trip, but that always seems to be a plus with horses of Colin Tizzard. Finally backed Wicklow Brave 22/1 EW as well. Mullins finally seems to be in a good form and I don’t think stepping up in trip should be a problem for a stayer on the flat. His form behind Espoir d’Allen doesn’t seem to bad now.

I’ve been a fan of Killultagh Vic for a while, he looked like he was going
to be top class at one time and maybe a Gold Cup horse. He maybe didn’t quite get to those
heights but he’s not far short. I think he’s quite well in here, down 5lbs from his rating
at the festival last year. Well done getting the 22s yesterday Bobby, I was a bit late getting
round to it and had to settle for 14s. I strongly fancy his chances :good:

All over my old friend Lil Rockefeller. I’ll just go solo on him.

What a thrilling race! A lot better than some Stayers Hurdles, well done winners!

Third and fourth probably the horses to take out of the race – nearer what seemed a strong pace than the two that beat them.
