Corals phoned me back last night and apologised regarding their mistake. Were very nice to me and I was impressed with the response in the end. Only the one idiot to deal with first of all. They have credited my account. You can all sleep tonight
Have not been as cross for a while when told That’s unlucky sir…
What a w*****r!. No apology either.
Now have enough money for another punt on this weks golf!!
Will post soon.January 8, 2008 at 19:01 #134115Great to hear Crizzy. I thought 1/4 1-2-3 sounded a bit iffy, even in a reduced field. Hope you make the most of the money you’ve had to work for!
January 8, 2008 at 19:30 #134119Friggo, I can tell you it was not very much money at all but that was never the point. It was only the very apologetic, sincere ( and rather sexy, I might add) voice of a well mannered woman on the other end of the phone that stopped me from closing that account!
A far cry from the irritating cockney t****r I dealt with earlier in the evening. ( No, I have nothing against cockneys, I even watch Eastenders
)January 9, 2008 at 07:35 #134187Hi Crizzy, great to here that you got what you were entitled to
, maybe you should ring them back and ask for the guy that dealt with you case first and get him to Credit your account as well
with the amount that you won
, if it had been a big return then it might make him think again about doing that.Just a thought.
Cheers for now.
Adrian.

.It amazes me how mistakes like this can happen in our day of computer settled bets – but believe me, I know it does
