Sounds like they are coming to the right decision whether by fault or design. Had Sir Gino not been injured would Constitution Hill have gone to the Champion Hurdle in the first place?

different owners but I think Henderson switched Sir Gino because he must have been concerned with the Hills jumping, so no, If fit both wouldn’t have been in the champion Hurdle.
Also, ditto to GDC, not all of us were dismissive of his Gold Cup credentials.

More importantly my Cheltenham coffers are being filled today , De Legislator all the way down to Bangor for the North Wales Grand National , pile in , I’m that confident I’m on at distances plus , this horse has been screaming for this

Fair decision and I thought it might go that way after watching the Buckley interview as he was mapping out what a flat campaign might look like, and you can’t have a flat campaign if the horse injures himself (or worse) at Cheltenham.

I don’t know about that. Nicky wants Jonbon to win so badly at Cheltenham, that’s why the pressure is still there.

He may want him to but he’s unlikely to , more pressure with the supreme and arkle horses surely , the jumping issue was always unlikely to be resolved so at least they’ve not dragged it out to long
