I think I was being kind when I guessed you were 8 years old.
Grow up, FFS.
April 23, 2009 at 04:20 #223124The horse? Reefscape! Hmmmm….Champion Hurdle 2010 anyone???
No mission, world hurdle perhaps…
That’s a really good shout Bulwark – the Cadran and Ascot Gold Cup are both over 4000 metres / 2 1/2 miles, and of course with Kasbah Bliss running in last years Cadran, maybe the World hurdle is a much more realistic target.

Outsped over 2m2f today on hurdling debut, trainer reckons he’ll be better with a step up in trip darren, could yet be a world hurdle contender, but we probably wont know much better until next season sometime.
April 23, 2009 at 11:32 #223137You could find out a lot earlier than that, Bulwark. The logical thing would be for Reefscape to be aimed at the Prix la Barka ( around 2m6f – 25th May) and Grand Course de Haies (around 3m1f – 21st June, I think) over the next several weeks. If he were to go close in those races, the Stayers could very well develop as a target (though whether or not he would actually run over here is debatable).
He is not currently quoted in any of the ante-post World Hurdle markets.
April 23, 2009 at 15:54 #223187You’d hope he’d be capable of giving Kasbah Bliss a beating around Auteuil to be competitive in the World Hurdle. KB’s UK form is far far superior to what he’s shown over jumps in France – the likes of Grande Haya back in a trial for the Grande Haies this weekend too.
Hopefully Reefscape will improve upped in trip.
April 23, 2009 at 19:20 #223228He’s only very new to the hurdling game, so hard to expect him to be up to beating Kasbah Bliss so soon, but will be interesting to see if there are any signs of class about him when he steps up.
