British racing is in dire need of willie mullins continuing to chase the british title, without lossie and ballyburn the racing this week would be diabolical
I love lossie, ill make my dough back on CH here though from the withdrawel lto, the trip is too short for lossie and out of every trainer, including mullins, a horse back from a layoff, fto, youd choose no one else other than hendo
December 26, 2024 at 01:32 #1716308Betting wise, this just isn’t my kind of race but I’ll be watching
to see if CH is as good a horse as he was, I hope so.December 26, 2024 at 09:12 #1716310Maybe a bet on Lossiemouth if she goes out to 6/4 or something. I hope the market is right and Constitution Hill is back to his (almost) best. Still have to see it though.
December 26, 2024 at 09:18 #1716312No bet in this just want to see Constitution Hill streaking away.
The more I know the less I understand.
December 26, 2024 at 12:06 #1716339Will be a fascinating race to watch as you would think Burdett Road will go off in front (hopefully the faster the better) but if Cobden tries to get tactical and slow it down I would imagine Nico will kick on as even though I doubt he will want an end to end gallop (which would test his fitness more) I also don’t think he can win if it comes down to a sprint up the straight
Fingers crossed Lossiemouth settles quickly and doesn’t waste any excess energy that she will need at the business end, which is why I hope Burdett Road makes it a proper test from the start as although I think she has the better turn of foot she is clearly the better stayer of the group as well.

December 26, 2024 at 13:51 #1716367Race fit Lossie in a 2-1 double with State Man on Sunday for me.
December 26, 2024 at 14:00 #1716369Get In you absolute Legend!!
December 26, 2024 at 14:00 #1716370Lossiemouth back to the mares
December 26, 2024 at 14:05 #1716372THE KING IS BACK! WHAT A CHRISTMAS PRESENT!
December 26, 2024 at 14:06 #1716373Lossiemouth back into fav for the Mares
Must be the route, she had race fitness over CH.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
December 26, 2024 at 14:07 #1716374Credit to Constitution Hill. He has silenced us doubters for now.
I suppose Lossiemouth will now head for another procession in the Mares Hurdle but it looked like 2 miles around a sharp track did not suit her at all.
December 26, 2024 at 14:08 #1716376He travelled from the start and she didn’t, to be honest I didn’t expect her to even get as close to him in the end as she did but no doubt he will improve for the run as he had a proper race today which you could argue is something he hasn’t had to do for most of his career.
I wouldn’t be quick to switch Cheltenham targets with her just yet though as she may have learned a lot more from that race as for most of her other races she has always been swinging off the bridle doing it easy until the last.
This is where having that Mares race as an alternative will be to the detriment (and detract) from the Champion Hurdle as ideally you want all three of the big guns to face off in the Premier Championship hurdle race.
December 26, 2024 at 14:10 #1716377Nathan, I’m on her now for the Mares. Knew she’d be no match for an on song CH. I’d say that’s only him at 90% too.
December 26, 2024 at 14:18 #1716380Havent seen it yet, but will watch later.
I took 9/2 on CH for the Champion hurdle the other week, so just hoping he stays sound over coming 10 weeks.
December 26, 2024 at 14:19 #1716381Paul Townend said post race that his horse ran flat.
December 26, 2024 at 14:25 #1716382lol sure he did.
She got her arse handed to her by a far superior horse and that’s the top and bottom of it!
