“when Constitution Hill stays hudling Facile Vega and the Ballymore winner will think sod that and go Arkle and Turners leaving Warrior with the Browns”

Embassy Gardens says just wait till I get a wind op, then you can hold my beer Warrior whilst I win the BANC. Just don’t get excited and slosh it all over the folks standing on your right while you’re cheering me home.

Embassy Gardens may need a leg transplant as well as the wind op
I was thinking he’d be one for the 4 miler..??

Embassy Gardens a weird one, I backed him in at Cheltenham, not sure whether he needs to learn to settle better or whether he’s just not that good. They do think he’ll make a better chaser but he did seem to weaken out of it in the Albert Bartlett so I wouldn’t be rushing to back him for the BANC. I’d be more tempted to take 16/1 The Nice Guy, but no idea how he’s recovering/recovered from his injury and he’s been a frail one in the past so I’m holding fire on him for the time being.

The Nichols Horse that won the Albert Bartlett is 12/1 I believe, that seems very fair given Nichols record with 3mile chasers!

I cashed out nutter Night and Day for a small loss and my next foray is Ile Atlantique at 25s for the Albert Bartlett. He has a good staying pedigree and is gaining plenty of race experience, Patrick sounds keen on him today.

I couldn’t back Monkfish for the Gold Cup after such a long lay off but it was a seriously encouraging comeback yesterday. He’s 20’s for the Stayers and this far out that doesn’t appeal either but with the hot fav for the GC in the yard it wouldn’t surprise me if that were the long term goal

Just followed Cork all Star in (Punchestown thread) with Hills 10/1 Gaelic Warrior for the Stayers Hurdle
Still only a baby could win multiple Stayers Hurdles and surpass Big Bucks

All the 1/1 for Constitution Hill Champion Hurdle has gone now
All that chipping away I’ve done to get the price moved
Hope he doesn’t go chasing… :rose:

I’m thinking about tickling Vauban for the Champion hurdle , easy to forget he,s still 5 and may well have improvement to come , can’t get that Royal Ascot run out of my head eithet , 25s looks some e.w value …. especially if CH did go chasing

Strange campaign for a 5yr old if the intention was Champion Hurdle next March
4 runs in 4 months, short break and then two flat runs during the summer before a tilt at the Melbourne Cup

I’m not sure we will see vauban over hurdles this season

If he runs well in the Melbourne cup can see him being put away and given a campaign in all the 2 mile flat cup races

    National Hunt chase
    Salvador ziggy 8/1

Impressed with his run today, should put him up to mid 150s which gives him a great chance in the NHC

    Turner’s novice chase
    Inthepocket 14/1

4th in the Supreme, winner at Aintree. Will be hoping they go down the turner’s route with him as without impaire et passe it looks weak.

I feel this thread would be more active in the big races discussion area

I’m going to take my first shot at next year’s Festival with A plus Tard in the gold cup. 66’s with paddy power. If he has even a marginally more positive season before March then he won’t even be a 1/3rd of that come the day.

    Arkle
    Mister Policeman 16/1
    Turner’s
    Mister Policeman 20/1

One start for Willie over hurdles, beat some very solid handicappers very easily, could be anything

    Mares Novice hurdle
    Brighterdaysahead 10/1

Talk is that she’s very useful and is a half sister to mighty potter and French dynamite

    Ryanair
    Banbridge 14/1

This race looks open for a bet as its full of horses who likely won’t even be aimed at the race

Good grief. I’d want minimum of 25-1 against any horse even running at the Festival at this stage! Best of luck though.
