Skybet, botchy
they also have a win any race marketFFS, it would be. As much use as a chocolate fireguard for me that. Cheers anyway.
March 18, 2018 at 10:40 #1347439VTC couldn’t resist a little myself at that price ,Santini / Next Destination will surely go the RSA
March 18, 2018 at 10:52 #1347440ARKLE –
I’m waiting for a price on DEFI DU SEUIL. Hobbs was very keen to take him chasing after winning the Triumph, saying “He could win an Arkle… his jumping is mustard”. He hasn’t been seen since Hobbs’ stable form started to get a bit better, but I’m convinced there’s a very good horse in there.
There’s currently no price for IF THE CAP FITS, but he’s looked an absolute tool this season. He seems the type to go chasing and I think he would be bang there in contention.
March 18, 2018 at 12:54 #1347454Douvan has been priced up to win any race at 8-1 by Hills. I’m taking some of that.
March 18, 2018 at 15:13 #1347473What price is Douvan for the Champion Chase? I rekon he’ll stay that route as they’ll want the mare Bennie Des Doo for the Ryanair, though could be tempted to retain her crown and stay with the mares.
March 18, 2018 at 15:22 #134747714’s with Paddy Power ben
Blackbeard to conquer the World
March 18, 2018 at 15:28 #1347479Maybe word on the street is that Bennie des doo will try to retain her crown come March then as can’t imagine Ricci taking himself on in the Ryanair with her and Douvan. 8-1 not a bad price mind for any race.
March 18, 2018 at 17:02 #1347486I had the kitchen sink on Altior to win this year’s QM CC since he won last year’s Arkle. The amount of stress and worry I felt for the best part of a year, was not good for my health, as it looked like he wouldn’t run on many occasions over the last 12 months.
Lesson learned, I’ll never ever bet antepost again, without NRNB.
March 18, 2018 at 19:37 #1347509Blow by Blow…To win any race 10/1 with Skybet…He could be a JLT,,RSA,,,or 4m horse.I dont mind which so long as he turns up.
March 19, 2018 at 22:37 #1347590I have gone for Samcro & Laurina for champion hurdle both @ 14/1 and for the Gold Cup Presenting Percy @ 6/1 and Native River @ 14/1 (placed before he won)
March 19, 2018 at 22:45 #1347591That’s a crazy price, I just helped myself to some of that, William Hill even gave me a price boost to 8.62 to 1. Thanks for letting us know.
March 20, 2018 at 11:36 #1347625Trying to second guess Mullins 3 days before the race is hard enough, never mind the guts of 12 months!
As said already a few times, i think Melon would make a great chaser, i had hoped he’d go that route this year! However, with the lack of ammo from WPM for the champion i wouldn’t be surprised if he’s kept to hurdles now. He is the type to run big races in it, but to struggle in the smaller field slow paced races…Punchestown could well prove this in April again IMO.
Will they put Laurina over fences next year? You’d imagine so the way mullins keeps mentioning it, but then again there’s every chance she still rocks up in the mares hurdle. Benie isn’t going to run up a sequence in the race i can’t imagine unless she improves vastly from that run.
One i have an interest in going forward for the Arkle, and really wanted him to head there this year is Cilaos Emery. At this best i think when racing close to the pace and prominently, the Arkle might well suit him. Hopefully he comes back ok after his injury. No prices available currently.
Unless the owners decide to have an early bet on the Gold Cup, and decide to follow their bets rather than whats best for the horse, i would hope Monalee will go to the Ryanair. He really doesn’t stay as well over the Cheltenham 3 miles in my opinion the way he races. 16/1 available, 14s general
I would think from the bumper Carefully Selected will be one for the Ballymore or AB….this is in mullins hands however so betting on that doesn’t appeal. He’s already won over 2m4.
Relegate, mares novice, but there will be some bought from FR that could challenge her.
I won’t go into the rest of them, but i think this years could work out nicely.I agree with Ginge about BDA and the champion. As it stands, there isn’t much in his way, Melon might improve, but for me, the novices probably won’t trouble him. Summerville Boy could really be anything IMO, but he needs a good pace, and an ease. Hes likely to lose a race or two in his campaign next year, and wouldnt rate as a bet right now.BDA at 7/2 is a decent bet

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 20, 2018 at 12:43 #1347635Can’t imagine the stress levels were much lower watching the race itself either!
March 23, 2018 at 11:30 #1347832Has anyone heard anything about Annamix? I know he was injured (pelvis) in November last year but all the talk prior to the injury was that this was Ricci’s number one for the Supreme.
March 23, 2018 at 13:35 #1347837CNC- I think he was ruled out for the season. So all being well back next season.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 23, 2018 at 18:56 #1347857Could not resist 33’s for Hollowgraphic in the Ballymore.
March 24, 2018 at 02:24 #1347902Thanks Jack. I always appreciate your quick responses. I wonder whether Annamix is worth a bet early doors for the Supreme next year before people remember the hype this year. The only thing that puts me off is what happened to Senewalk.
I rewatched some of the Festival races today and must say I didn’t realise just how impressive Summerville Boy was in the Supreme. He made a terrible mistake and recovered remarkably well.
I also rewatched the Ryanair and was massively impressed with Balko Des Flos. Not many horses could or have nonchalantly strolled pass Un De Sceaux.
