I eagerly tuned in to this new series expecting to hear the dulcet tones of Derek Thompson informing us that he’d had a word with the trainer and, hey, tell ya what big fella.. (etc etc).
Imagine my outrage when I was confronted with a bittersweet comedy-drama starring Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington.
Quite frankly, this is yet another kick in the teeth for British horse racing. If so-called ‘Channel Four’ are expecting me to pay their so-called ‘licence fee’ any longer then they are barking up the wrong end of the stick.
Disgustedly yours,
Mike

) offering from Gervais has plumbed new depths – even for him. It’s not only embarrassing, it’s also in poor taste. Gervais is not a comedian – and he is certainly no actor.
