    Really pleased Hollie won. A much better story for racing than an 80/1 outsider.

    It is not that long until the BBC unveils its shortlist for Sports Personality of the Year. Given what Hollie Doyle has achieved this year, there must be a place for her on the list.

    Oxted won on average historical ratings the best 6f sprint of the season. He then has an op and comes back lacking fitness and running in ground he probably doesn’t like much. He was the best horse in that race. A great run. Hope he stays in training

    I’d have no problem backing him for the diamond J if the odds are okay. Very good chance the ground would be fine. Although we might get Classique Legend for that next year perhaps!
