Echoing what a previous poster has said, Saldier is the most obvious bet now (I missed the fancy prices about Saint Roi). I fancied him for this last year until injuries intervened. Get him to the festival and he’s on par with Epatante and, if continuing on his trajectory, Saint Roi for me.
November 2, 2020 at 21:21 #1508398Hopefully we see Goshen on Saturday
November 19, 2020 at 10:41 #1511325Goshen taken out of the Coral Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday. Something doesn’t seem right with him. Disappointed on the flat and now seems to be running scared of just about anything over hurdles. I’m sure just yesterday Moore was ruling out the Fighting Fifth in favour of Ascot…
November 19, 2020 at 11:29 #1511330It doesn’t look like a year to dig out a big priced outsider, but I’m interested in Beacon Edge at 50/1. I haven’t bet him yet though. I’ll wait and see if he stands his ground in The Hatton’s Grace
November 19, 2020 at 13:07 #1511344Goshen had an unsatisfactory scope apparently. Will go for the Fighting Fifth or the International if ok. I reckon it might be the International.
November 28, 2020 at 14:12 #1512447Nice from Epatante
I did back her at evens today too, thought she shudve bin 4-7.
November 28, 2020 at 14:14 #1512448She’s such a fabulous mare.
Poor Silver Streak getting his ground at the end of November then getting wiped out- he wouldn’t have beaten her but could well have come 2nd.November 28, 2020 at 14:20 #1512450Really enjoyed that
She is very good
November 28, 2020 at 14:23 #1512452I backed her today as she was should have been shorter , regarding the champ hurdle beating sceau royal shouldn’t bring her into 6/4 though
November 28, 2020 at 14:37 #1512457She was very good. Cannot see anything giving her 7 lbs and a beating in March.
November 28, 2020 at 14:57 #1512463Yep agree! She’d win it off level weights! Let alone 7 pounds allowance !
And the scariest thing is we still haven’t see. The best from her yet as she’s only had 6/7 hurdle starts and keeps winning with her head in her chest. UnbelievableNovember 28, 2020 at 19:29 #1512497I bet Beacon Edge at 50/1 this morning, I was hoping it would be worth going for an outsider this year, but Jaysus, that was impressive today.
What a smashing performance, and I’ll hopefully sit back and enjoy her winning in March
November 28, 2020 at 21:02 #1512513V impressive, but remembering how B D’Air looked invincible after this race 2 yrs ago. Only in retrospect did we realise Samcro was over-rated.
November 28, 2020 at 21:58 #1512514Sceau Royal is a more solid horse than Samcro with lots of strong form to his name. He made Altior dig deep to win the Champion Chase. And Epatante has laughed at him.
November 28, 2020 at 22:03 #1512516Hadn’t buvuer dair already won a champion hurdle by that point ? And Epatante has already won one too? She’s not trying to prove she’s not overrated as she’s already been there and done it, very easily too. And if anything she’s better this season
November 28, 2020 at 22:20 #1512519Sceau royal is a good yardstick but I can’t see him getting anywhere in this year’s champ hurdle , I think it’s a strong race and we,ve still to see Goshen yet , I really think Abracadbras can give her a race esp after watching shiskin this week …shiskin is a machine
November 29, 2020 at 20:31 #1512593Honeysuckle wouldn’t have to give her 7lbs…

So don't run, just like the others always do
