Looks like the stable info was spot on! GET IN!
March 16, 2010 at 15:28 #282890Nicky Henderson put everyone away.
Well done Fist – keep the faith!!!!!!!!
March 16, 2010 at 15:28 #282891Quite brilliant!
Even though i wasn’t on.
Destroyed them!
March 16, 2010 at 15:29 #282892That McCoy is rubbish isn’t he?
Small race jockey.
Can’t do the job in a big race. What more needs to be said.
Great ride.
Very impressive.March 16, 2010 at 15:30 #282894Nicky Henderson put everyone away.
Two years in succession!

Please don’t start that one…The guy did nothing wrong.
March 16, 2010 at 15:30 #282896Today’s shirt is already off my back!
Must check my wardrobe to make sure i have enough for the remainder of the week!
March 16, 2010 at 15:31 #282897Watch Binocular jump there, that is how a Champion Hurdler jumps.
Fantastic hurdling, nice and fluent, and a great ride.
So pleased to see Binocular win too, as a favourite of mine. I was on Medermit, who i think went too fast to try and keep up with Zaynar and Celestial Halo, and that cost him any chance in the finish.
March 16, 2010 at 15:34 #282898Yep, he wasn’t for me but that was mightily impressive…
On a seperate note, that ground looks plenty fast enought, they were strung out like a washing line!
March 16, 2010 at 15:35 #282899fair play well done winners

Brilliant ride from McCoy and a much better effort in the saddle than we saw on stablemate Zaynar. Great to see a classy horse get the reward he deserved.

Perfect ground!! That’s how it should be.
March 16, 2010 at 15:36 #282903Very sad to see the horse who was definitely out for the season win it. Doesn’t do our sport any favours at all. Ffs say he’s injured if you want, but don’t lead everyone up the garden path. Abysmal PR.

Certainly is fast enough – i suspect there’s v.little ‘soft’ left in the going now.
I said yday with the dry, sunny couple of days it would dry out fast.- no surprise.
March 16, 2010 at 15:36 #282905Well done fist, its been a day for the forgotten heroes, pity binocular couldnt hav done it last year though…but glad to see him come good in the end.
Theres no two ways about it, that was very good…
March 16, 2010 at 15:37 #282906Nothing against Henderson, but its a good job Jim Bolger doesn’t train Binocular.

And Binocular makes history – the first non-runner to win a championship race.
I hope JP’s winnings justified Henderson’s handling of the situation.
