Thought this was supposed to be a forum, where meaningful views were exchanged, not an O’Brien appreciation society.
I see you put up O’Brien horses for pretty much every race. Why don’t you just say “I like O’Brien” and leave it at that?
I’m sorry to see the Judge lashing out on a poster just because he likes winners and if you don’t like them, post your own.
As a matter of fact in 40%+ big races with O’Brien entrys, he’ll have from 2-4 runners, none of them useless and often 1 or 2 with top credentials.
So finding the right O’Brien horse is just as important as looking for other trainees.
Keep it up BotchyLashing out? Rather I was pointing out that a lot of posters on here merely tip O’Brien horses and nothing else.
As I said I thought it was a forum, which is supposed to be an exchange of ideas, where you might actually get some insight into racing beyond the cliches peddled by the racing media (which in the long-term might help your punting) but clearly it’s just a back-slapping exercise, a mates club where other posters fall over each other to praise their “skills” when all they do is tip the same type of horses over and over again, without showing any real insight.
Screw this for a lark, I’m off.
October 11, 2016 at 16:50 #1266719I thought you were wrong with your comments to botchy, as I posted earlier, and I don’t agree
with your further comments judge, but I hope this spat is water under the bridge now and you
reconsider leaving. Agreeing or disagreeing with you is neither here nor there. It was a bit
personal towards botchy earlier, but you had the good grace to hold your hands up and apologise,
an apology which was accepted. This forum has lost enough contributing posters of late, I hope you
decide to stick around.October 11, 2016 at 17:22 #1266723Rather I was pointing out that a lot of posters on here merely tip O’Brien horses and nothing else
You meant me, and you got this so so wrong because i dont only put up AOB horses!
As I said I thought it was a forum, which is supposed to be an exchange of ideas
It is, and maybe backing AOB runners ( non favs ) Ante Post is an exchange of ideas people could put in the pot to come to a decision for themselves. No one puts a gun to the head and say back so and so.
Backing Found came from the horse going from 20-1 to 5-1 in 2 hours for the Yorkshire Oaks so i presumed a return to form was expected. She came second and went to 20’s, then came second in the Irish Champion and came down to 10’s.
Then she won, and i gave my reasoning why i thought she could win beforehand on the Arc thread. Yes i got it right and probably never will again ( hopefully not ).But hey ho what a good bit of satisfaction i got from it that i will never forget in my life.
I have nothing against you at all, i dont even know you. Never seen your face !
Let bygones be bygones and lets get on with finding winners eh , however we do it ?
October 11, 2016 at 17:34 #1266725SPOTY? Would that not be hard considering both O’Brien and Mullins are Irish and based in Ireland ?

True, but no doubt he has a great personality

I know you post many horses at various prices botchy, I’ve commented on plenty. “Let bygones be
bygones and lets get on with finding winners eh , however we do it ?”……my sentiments exactlyOctober 14, 2016 at 19:44 #1267032Lloyd Williams just bought a share in SIN today. Topped up @ 11’s
October 14, 2016 at 20:18 #1267046Seems to be getting well in with the lads is Mr Williams. Aiden does seem to have s lot of good staying types and I’m sure lloyd Williams is looking for types to win the cox plate and the Melbourne cup. I take it he must be stumping up a sizeable amount to get a share in sin and oosg. Interesting development which could mean a big deal in Oz.
October 15, 2016 at 00:18 #1267086I’m on an old favourite of mine Our Ivanhowe before another possible tilt at the Melbourne Cup.
