    Saddened to hear that Caithness had to be euthanised following an injury sustained at Kelso on Dec 29th.

    RIP Caithness.

    It was a tough task to track down Caithness’s fate, it looked ot me as if the horse was lame but difficult to identify the problem exactly. There was a rumour at the course on the day that Caithness had been put down, but I could find no definite confirmation. Nothing about the horse’s fate in Lucinda Russell’s blog, though the horse had been removed from the ‘Horses In Training’ section of the stable website. A big blow to the group of ‘Kelso Lowflyers’ owners who gathered with us at the top of the the old stand at Kelso.
