Could i be cheeky and ask if anyone has read any books by Andrew Mount? I enjoy studying race trends, but am not quite sure if the book i am thinking of purchasing (Trend Horses – Form breakers for the flat 2008, by Andrew Mount) will be a good read.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
March 18, 2008 at 10:52 #152204i dont know about andrew mount book.but i bought racing trends by david myers.and found it fascinating reading.and might help you in winner finding. there is only one way of finding out. and that is to buy one.if its not for you .then you wont have to buy one again .
March 18, 2008 at 11:02 #152206I think, Andrew (Mounty), is a member on here so I wouldn’t, and couldn’t, say anything bad about his books.
I have bought one and been lucky enough to receive two free copies (one of them signed!!!)
If following trends is ‘what floats yer boat’, you couldn’t do better than buying Andrew Mount’s.
Mounty, that’s going to cost you at least half-a-pint!!!

March 21, 2008 at 12:33 #153124When is it due out Mounty? I’m not sleeping too well at the moment as the anticipation is fierce.
March 22, 2008 at 09:00 #153253Any day now. There should be one of those Harry Potter-style midnight launches taking place, though rather than J K Rowling dressed as a wizard being mobbed by thousands by speccy little gits, it’ll just be me, a can of stella and Wilkie, my stalker.
