Busselton in the none racing agreements
VF x
February 16, 2023 at 21:51 #1635732It looks like it’s the 4 year old British-bred flat racer version of Busselton who has been retired rather than the 6 year old French-bred chaser
February 18, 2023 at 21:50 #1636043Jepeck retired

February 18, 2023 at 23:42 #1636053It’s bizarre to think that Jepeck won the veterans’ chase series final at Sandown over three years ago, and has only just been retired now. He maintained his form well over the intervening period too, with a return to hurdles proving a great success.
Wishing him a long and happy retirement; it has certainly been well-earned.
February 19, 2023 at 05:00 #1636079He did me a right favour when he won over hurdles at 40s , happy retirement son
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 20, 2023 at 15:46 #1636313Bristol De Mai retired.
February 20, 2023 at 15:50 #1636316Surprised Regal Encore hasn’t been retired after the weekends effort.
February 20, 2023 at 16:14 #1636324A happy retirement for Bristol De Mai…..
February 20, 2023 at 16:45 #1636328What a marvellous racehorse Bristol De Mai has been. His chasing career has certainly had some longevity as he started out over fences as a 4 year old.
It’s a shame the ground wasn’t softer on Saturday as we might have seen a slightly better showing on his swansong. However, he goes out with earnings of £900k and 12 victories including 5 at Grade 1 level. Thanks for everything Bristol, I hope you have a very long and happy retirement
February 20, 2023 at 23:36 #1636387Bristol De Mai retires

Been waiting for this news for quite a while. Worried that they might run him in this years Grand National but after Saturday they decided he’d finally had enough and it was time to retire him.
Bristol De Mai mine and everyone’s favourite grey. May you enjoy the happiest and longest of retirements.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 21, 2023 at 00:59 #1636392Aww my fav grey will always be the Abbey but I’ll still wish him a happy retirement , glad his last run was at his beloved Haydock
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 21, 2023 at 13:20 #1636430Minella Times retired.
February 21, 2023 at 14:00 #1636434Even though I was at Ayr HDLG and backed Grey Abbey to win the Scottish National I have to go for Monets Garden as my favourite grey.
Could be a whole new thread.
As for Bristol De Mai, Haydock in November was always his cup final and boy did he deliver on the big day. Jumped, galloped and ran some serious horses into submission. Great to see him retire in one piece.
Minella Times will forever go into the history books as one of the landmark National winners. Like many winners of the big one he struggled afterwards but no one can take that day in April 21 away from him. I hope he enjoys a long retirement.

February 24, 2023 at 22:48 #1636905Thank goodness for that. Didn’t seem to be enjoying his racing recently
February 25, 2023 at 05:05 #1636925Aww , he looked a superstar the day he won the Betfair
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 25, 2023 at 13:18 #1636985It looks the right decision to retire Bristol De Mai, as he was just not the force of old.
I’d moved away from the jumps for many years, but smashing horses like him have helped me get back into it a lot. I’ll miss him for sure around Haydock, but it’s a nice feeling to see him retire fit and well
