I assume you had had word from the yard, given your original confidence, so what is to apologise for?

Ferdy Murphy cocking something up is hardly a surprise (whether it be in failing to land the ‘plot’, or simply talking complete and utter rubbish).

LGR – I only fancied it from a form perspective and the info I had been reading a few weeks back about Ferdy Murphy’s feelings on the horse.
Nothing inisde, so to speak. I’ll substantiate my reasons for tipping a horse more thoroughly in future as I do not wish to mislead.

However, there is always an upside – I have found an unlikely comrade in Fist!!!!

Oh, and don’t place any faith in anything Ferdy Murphy says – he’s about as useful as Clive Brittain (who thinks every horse he trains is bloody brilliant) in that respect.
