My old brain has been kick started by rab123 (and Loanshark of another place) and wondering why “Number 12” should hold any significance, the only reason I can think has to be connected to weight. Be that as it may after many days of chewing various ideas over I experimented today with an idea (once again based around the Daily Mirror’s SF,F & EW credits) producing much to my surprise 3 winners from 13 selections and 5 placed. The winners at pleasing SP’s 11/2, 5/1 & 9/2.
But with enough to do each morning I have decided to EXPERIMENT using overnight data via the ATR site which gives me a little evening fun and takes pressure off my mornings.
Below The Line is a mythical line drawn across the card equal to 60% from the top – say 11 declared and 60% from the top is 6.6, well we all know it is not possible to draw a line at 6.6 and so I have drawn the line under number 6 ignoring all above the line. The theory being similar to “number 12” and the lighter weighted horses are below the line.
My considered selection will be endorsed by ATR Verdict and Timeform’s 5* but only when both agree and then it must be “Below the Line”.
Last but not least any considered horse should be 1.2.3 in the betting forecast, the ATR will do.
I have deliberately made qualification hard so that there will only be a few betting opportunities but for anyone wanting more this can be solved by easing the rules to choice.
My Wealth Warning – this is totally untried, it may have worked today with the Mirror and may have simply been a little bit of luck and will only be given limited chance to prove itself.

October 21, 2016 at 10:34 #1267946I’ve been running this with some rating system would it be alright to post them later on Billion?
October 21, 2016 at 19:07 #1267993I have recently vowed to avoid betting at the weekends which I find so hard but how greed takes over when a little system shows both promise and a little profit.
Doncaster 3.50 YUCATAN at 6/5 2nd = Lost

October 21, 2016 at 19:20 #1267997rab 123, not only do I not have any problem with you posting here but it will be a pleasure to watch the results and with a little bit of good fortune your profits as well.
It will be interesting insomuch to see how the rating compares because as you know I am trusting in Timeform plus a tipster (ATR) which has chucked up 3 winners from 8 selections.

October 23, 2016 at 10:37 #1268321rab123 – HORSFORTH finished the day in the best way possible.
Nathan – I can understand members watching this, after all rab123 brings a certain amount of credibility to the thread but when the numbers are up and joining in with variations will be the time to brag.
I agree with rab123 for today with ON DEMAND, let us hope that two (great) minds bring us a winner. Won 2/1

*If there are any interested members may I draw their attention to the excellent PLUVIUS at Everything Horse Racing Forum who found MASSINI’s TRAP 25/1 at Aintree yesterday (Sunday) with his Under the Radar system. It is systems such as this which breath fresh air into our betting and scare the hell out of the bookies.
