ON ALBERT’s HEAD 3.00 Southwell – Noel Fehilly taking the ride.
It is a shortie at 5/4 but sometimes and I hope you this is one when you have to follow your gut (I can always blame SWIMBO if it goes wrong)
It is all in the name and ALBERT was my Father-in-Law and a very good footballer in his day hence ON ALBERT’s HEAD. He turned down professional terms with West Ham because he had a steady job with a pension and felt the football game was too risky for a family man with 3 children. Towards the end of his playing career with Colchester Casuals then thought of as a better side than Colchester United he played with a young John Bond who progressed with both West Ham and Newcastle before going into management with Norwich and was quoted as saying Albert was the best non-pro he played with.
