Good decision, Ian. It was a great card with so much prize-money on offer. I wonder why Coolmore doesn’t send anymore horses to the US throughout the season. The only meeting they’re targeting seems to be the Breeders Cup. But, yesterday’s racing was pretty much of BC quality.
And yes, the UK racing yesterday was pretty uninspiring.
June 11, 2023 at 12:35 #1651204Great card and some great races, echoing many of the comments here in saying Cody’s Wish is some horse isn’t he! Swept round the outside and put the race to bed before reaching the end of the final bend!
Tremendous night of sport throughout with the PGA tours event being a birdie fest and the champions league being won by possibly the greatest club team this country has ever produced, what a time to be alive having all of this top tier sport from around the globe so easily accessible. It’s still beggars belief that I can be sat on the sofa with a screen on my lap and watch, in real time, world-class horse racing from Belmont in the USA, world-class golf from Canada and world-class football in Istanbul. What a treat!

There were a few saying she should have been aimed at Royal Ascot, but she loves a bend, I don’t believe she’d be as effective.
I’ll never tire of the Cody’s Wish story, this is the one that should be distributed to all the Animal Rising-ers. The connection between boy and horse is genuinely the proudest moment this sport has achieved, in my humble opinion. - AuthorPosts
