Now Where or When for me. I go back to the Bobby Jo Chase in soft conditions where he ran among graded horses and almost beat them. If he can reproduce that level he must have a chance.

Is Now Where Or When better right handed?

Is Now Where Or When better right handed?

His best results were at Fairyhouse, so that could imply that he is better right handed, but he also had some decent runs at Leopardstown and Ayr. Don’t think it will be a problem.

If you rewatch the GN Minella Trump ran really well until he ran out of gas , he,s a cracking e.w bet in my eyes for a yard that loves to win at Aintree , I’ll also be playing The big breakaway as he,s the best horse in the race , just hope he enjoys the experience more this time

I was thinking its not often you see going stick readings starting with a 2 like Aintree is today. Could be survival of the fittest. Surely those entered in the Welsh National who are at Aintree or Chepstow today aren’t intended for the Welsh National, can’t see many backing up again in under 3 weeks time.

I think there are 3 horses in the field that have never pulled up. Might be a factor. You want something that just keeps going!

I echo TinMan and Kendal’s thoughts.
Half the 2 mile hurdlers in the first race failed to complete and most of the rest were legless.

I think being out of the handicap is pretty much irrelevant in this ground over this trip and these fences.

Dorking Cock is my main fancy and worth an ew- by Winged Love out of a Cadoudal mare should be a long distance swimmer.
Chambard also has form on heavy and stays, and Undersupervision might take to it as well.

They are absolutely crawling out there. Not surprised to see Tizzards horse is now favourite.

You will probably count the finishers on one hand.

They’ll need to be able to jump the fences too. Stamina useless if they not got a jockey on top at the end of the race ;o)

Surprised to see that my selection Chambard was a general 16/1 this morning, now 18/1. Stays well and handles the ground.
Lounge Lizard e/w 18/1 4 places is interesting at the bottom of the weights. Progressive younger horse who stays well and not likely to be inconvenienced by the ground.

I’ve plumped with Moroder, as well at 25s.
Suspect it’ll be a brutal slog and, maybe, not ‘pretty’ to watch.

Best of luck to all :good:
