just read bbc by 2010 want to reduce coverage from 27 days to 13, no doubt keeping the arc and royal ascot cos they are days out for the boys.
I think its a sodding disgrace for them to do this. i am lucky i can afford ATR and racing uk,
the beeb seem to be an elitist corporation now that exists just for its employees and a select few types and i am including the talentless jonathon ross in that mob, lose him and we could have 5 days extra racing at least.

The Beeb are a left wing propganda machine and there is nothing "British" about their broadcasting organisation.

Julian Wilson hit the nail on the head in his book after he left them – the BBC are no longer interested in quality coverage all they are interested in is being seen to be politically correct and are sacrificing standards in order to do so.

I feel sorry for those that don’t have ATR and RUK but at least they have Channel 4 and whilst OK C4 may not be perfect at least they try and take their racing seriously.

The BBC only want the showcase meetings it sums them up – no substance and all show.

The biggest joke is that they are throwing millions at the tacky, braindead, pikey, airhead, dirty and noisey garbage that calls itself formula one

But then again, that also appealed to New labour too didnt it?

For the first time in my life I have written a letter of complaint to the BBC Head of Sport expressing my outrage and disappointment at this truly appalling decision. As yet I have received no reply and, as you may think, I’m not holding my breath. But we have to register our displeasure, don’t we? We can’t just let the worst excesses of this so-called national broadcaster, riddled as it is with political correctness and forever kow-towing to New Labour do completely as it wishes without any comment whatsoever.
