What on earth is he talking about. Not really one to criticise but…

    “With Choc Thornton on today”.

Only twice in a handful of rides can i remember Robert Thornton not being on board.

    “Ridden slightly differently today”.

He wasn’t really ridden any differently to normal, settled in the middle of the pack and then quickened up and used his stamina towards the end of the race as usual.

“When Tidal Bay was coming off the bridle”.

Would that be Inglis Drever then? ? ?

Not really sure what to say about it really. Not usually one to criticise, but that wasn’t the best.

The BBC do disappoint with their coverage. Their ‘experts’ leave a lot to be desired, barring Norman Williamson who I believe is excellent. It smacks of ‘jobs for the boys’. Removing Sue Barker was a good move though.
