I know a few are going to shout me down but I think the draw is absolutely crucial in this and if you don’t have a single figure draw then forget it!!
KICK ON is well drawn and goes on softish ground and CLON COULIS could have been laid out for this too and my MICHUM SWAGGER will like the ground too!!

I have to be with Clon Coulis here at 9-1 on the nose. I keep going back to his Royal Ascot run. I think that run gives him a real chance here.

I have also taken Mitchum Swagger 25-1 win, and also went 20-1 ew with 6 places.

Sorry VTC, I’m on Escobar here so you may as well scratch him off as he has no chance now.

Jkz aside, he ran a great race last year, has been consistent on the whole this season and was staying on nicely behind Kynren here over 7f last time out.

The one thing that intrigued me was Danny Tudhope hasn’t ridden this horse since September last year, I’m wondering if there has been a falling out with the owners and if anyone can shed some light?
