Sedgefield 14:20 I always like it when a short priced favourite is on a long winning streak, and there are certainly enough question marks over Clean Getaways ability in soft ground only 3 runs in soft ground an the record reads 468, eevn in Good to Soft only 1 win in 5 that was over fences, the oterh 4 over hurdles read 5F44. Then there is the 10lb hike from teh last hurdle victory whihc was only by a neck.

As an alternative I would put up Longton Wold who was just over 5 lengths behind Clean Getaway in his last outing over fences but now has that 10lb weight swing in his favour, and he does have form in the soft all be it only 1 outing a 3 1/2 legth second place.

    1pt Win Langton Wold @ 9.2 – 2nd
    1pt Lay Clean Getaway @ 2.26 :good:

    always the bridesmaid it seems!

12:25 Kelso looks like it could be a winning return to hurdles for Cannock Park, who has not fared well over the bigger obstacles. His spring campaign over hurdles began a 3rd place in a Grade 2 around here stands out from his first run of the season. That was off a mark of 124 before being hiked 7lb by the handicapper and he was then a very close up 2nd in a class 3. The next run on good ground was on unsuitable ground. Back in the mud around here should suit, and dropped back to 126, has evreychance, its going to be a long 2 miles and he has teh stamina.

    2pt Win @ 8.2

Haven’t foound too many races worth looking at over the last few days, but I am a sucker to taking on an odds on favourite. The 17:15 at Southwell could be a bit of a crap shoot so I ma very happy to take on the poorly drawn King David.

Morris seems to be a notable booking for Toussarok he rode him to his best finish in nearly 18 months last time out, and back ovre 7f and carrying fly weight could be capapble of winning this.

    1pt Lay King David @ 1.93
    1pt Win Toussarok @ 12.33
