    Thankfully, because I missed Raising Sand the other night due to concentrating on the Easterby horses I had a last minute bet on the Varian horse (and it really was last minute) because he was winning everything. Which has (slightly) eased the pain of missing Raising Sand. I would not have considered Dusky Lord at all if it wasn’t for that. It seems to be a season for backing in form horse and jockeys.
