I think Sian is a chip off the old block, as the saying goes, MrE. How satisfying it is to know the same DNA is running through you both.
My dear old dad used to say “You can’t see the wood for the trees” or something like that and Sian has proved that fresh eyes will sometime bring something fresh to the subject matter.
I will leave the laying to those who will but it is not for me but without layers there is no game.
As per yourself I have said within the past few days I am off my Australian game, it has become difficult and neither of us can reason why and so perhaps my old dad was right I could not see that which was in front of me and I switched the tools around and landed 4 winners overnight.

February 23, 2020 at 19:17 #1483715That’s life MrE, I have enjoyed a superb experimental month with this domestic idea and after all everything comes to some sort of end but with this next selection maybe I can start afresh with more winners.
EQUIDAE – Southwell 4.45 @ 6/5 boosted with Unibet. . . . . .Lost

Australia is a non starter for myself this Monday.Billy's Outback Shack
February 23, 2020 at 21:16 #1483726Yes, you are correct Grasshopper, it would be illegal to have EVERY selection winning, the bookies would be bound to find a way of criminalising you for stealing their money….
I am trying to get myself motivated again after all the problems of late and I’m quite keen to follow these because they appear to have more in their favour than my Aussie effort did, it’s just that I like to test ’em before bunging my pension on…. trouble is that sometimes I’m too careful for my own good and I end up missing the “purple patch”….MrE
February 24, 2020 at 07:31 #1483756Another soggy Monday morning here in Essex and my son in Perth (Australia) in boasting of splendid sunshine down under. I am just out of bed, not yet had my Porage and I have found a Tuesday pick worthy of my pocket money.
Tuesday: –
SCRIBA – Bendigo, R3, @ 7/4 Unibet (boosted) . . . . . WON

February 24, 2020 at 19:14 #1483790Snow? Will it stay away for Tuesday?
BYTHEBAY – Lingfield 4.30 @ 13/8 . . . . . mugged on the line
In the short sample of this idea I have only once before had a losing run of 2 and now it is again a losing run of 2. WILL IT END?

February 25, 2020 at 09:56 #1483827Wednesday is always the big racing weekday and I have looked at 5 of the meetings and reduced 27 possible selections down to just two: –
TOMBSTONE – Gosford, Race 1 @ SP
GREAT KEPPELL – Toowoomba, Race 4 @ 2/1

February 25, 2020 at 18:55 #1483863Sporting the Royal colours always fills me with dread and once again I wonder if it is me or are Her Majesty’s horses generally inferior.
Wednesday: –
PUNCTUATION – Kempton 6.30 @ 3/4 . . . . . . . . WON
The losing run is now 3!

February 26, 2020 at 14:21 #1483905A MUG PUNTER bet saved me from any overnight losses.
I am disappointed with my recent run which is reducing the profit I was basking in.
4 for Thursday and I hope they stop the rot: –
FAVRA – R3 Newcastle @ SP
ALCIDES – R4 Pakenham @ SP
ARCADIA KING – R1 Bunbury @ 8/5
ENOOD – R2 Kilmore @ 10/3 . . . . . . . . WON 6.0Billy's Outback Shack

February 27, 2020 at 15:45 #1484013G’day MrE
All this coming and going between Essex and Norfolk always knock me out for a couple of days plus the problem of my internet signal is so much slower and so there are times when I just cannot be bothered to sit and watch that little circle going round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round.
MR PAGO – R4 Albany @ 1/1 . . . . . . WON
Has all the ticks in all the boxes. Will it win? I hope so, that is if Sian does not have it as a lay

February 27, 2020 at 19:19 #1484057Talk about going to seed, I think I am. I have just discovered I had not checked Wednesday’s runner, PUNCTUATION, perhaps I was not enthused by a past history of not doing well with HM The Queen’s horses, anyway it all turned out fine with a winner which ended a short losing run.
One for tomorrow Friday, it has all the credentials (ducks lined up in a row) of being a winner but we all know no matter how many ticks there are, things can go wrong. That’s the wealth warning done and I am filling my boots.
LEXINGTON FORCE – Newcastle, 5.45 @ 0.86/1 (boosted) Wm. Hill
The price is not generous but with that many ducks and ticks is never was going to be 100/1

February 28, 2020 at 10:36 #1484098Saturday in Australia [February 29th]
What is it they call it LEAP YEAR’S DAY – Nathan had better watch out because it is (I think) the day on which the ladies propose marriage. Stay indoors young sir or practice NAY, Nathan.
At last I am keeping my betting numbers down and only have 2 for the day: –
DIAMOND EFFORT – Flemington R1, @ SP . . . . . . . . . WON
TUSCAN QUEEN – Ascot R8 @ 5/2
I am trying hard to follow advice that I must feel good about my selections [not easy] but the boxes are ticked and the ducks are all lined of regarding DIAMOND EFFORT.
