Royal Regatta a bit of an Ascot specialist. Might be worth getting on those 16s EW now while it’s a 1-2-3 race.
That was the best ante-post bet available.

Are you going to add Fourthefunofit to your list?
February 18, 2017 at 18:54 #1287961Cue Card – some racehorse
February 18, 2017 at 20:02 #1287972I know he has won by miles in the end but my guess would be Cue Card has had a pretty hard race today. Brennan was pushing him along almost throughout and asking for one big jump after another. It wouldn’t surprise me to see both Cue Card and Thistlecrack struggling to place in the Gold Cup. I think it is very much a case of Native River or nothing for Tizzard.

Why would I do that?

On the contrary I’d say Brennan was just trying to keep tabs on the leader. Cue Card is very much a stayer these days and if push comes to shove; the old boy might not have the speed to stay off the bridle in a truly run race over 2 and a half miles. The best way to keep on top of the leader? Keep putting in good jump after good jump. I’ll be very much on the Cue Card bandwagon come gold cup day… not that i ever wasn’t going to be

Winless for over two years, same owner as Eastlake, impossible to predict. Was just a thought.

The horses on my list both cost me forecasts/tricasts, and Eastlake cost me a 6-fold.
February 19, 2017 at 20:21 #1288111Zark you didn’t get a run for your money but mine may aswell hadn’t bothered too.TAPK as per usual grabs the massive 14/1 on a horse that returns 4/1 but gets beat a neck for e/w money…Ouch!.I cant pretend it doesn’t bother me losing because it does, thankfully we saw the Gold cup winner here so mixed feelings for me with the result.
February 20, 2017 at 07:17 #1288156Will see how the ground is Saturday but may take a speculative each way punt on Irish Cavalier at 25/1
Please do not do that. Please.
Did warn you. Slow old dog.
You did indeed
