Cue card – could be too sharp for him
Kylemore Lough – chances
Total regatta – chancesRoyal* Regatta
If you look back at November, they met over 2m 3f at Ascot. Royal Regatta prevailed by a head. But I think if you look back at Kylemore Lough’s seasonal debut last year vs what he did the rest of the year, it’s not unfair to say that KL should shape a lot better than that day (it was his seasonal debut).
I honestly see this as a match race, Cue Card vs Kylemore Lough. If CC doesn’t run, KL is a certainty and should be evens at best.
Will see how the ground is Saturday but may take a speculative each way punt on Irish Cavalier at 25/1
Please do not do that. Please.
February 15, 2017 at 16:11 #1287527what could be a completely false market as I have a sneaky feeling ‘Cue card’ could miss this and go straight to Cheltenham like he did last year
Everything crossed here, Gord.

Bookies waking up. Best priced 6s.
Is Traffic Fluide going to run? I’d be concerned about him if he ran, definitely. Bit worried about that blue tbh.

I thought I’d typed Royal but can only guess I spelt it wrong/typo and auto spell changed it to total.
I remember in the race last year with RR as I’d backed KL that day funnily enough.
You don’t rate IC at all then? Very classy on his day I think

February 16, 2017 at 12:57 #1287594OMG it’s happened again! Kylemore Lough the only one taken out. 14/1 about 6/1 shot Consul De Thaix, taken out. 12/1 about 6/1 shot Kylemore Lough, taken out.

Dust yourself down and move on,dont dwell on Ante-Post losses it will effect your confidence.TAPK celebrates the victories hard and that motivates me.Anyone losing their hard earned cash without even getting a run is comparable to setting fire to it and there’s no pleasure in that, thats why very few even bother with Ante-Post betting…Of course I am the exception but even I have had my sickeners…’Age of Aquarius’ is still the one that stands out.If you have the confidence in your ‘system’ you will succeed Zark.I was always taught 5 years of repetitive training would become 2nd nature when you needed it,well after 30 odd years of Ante-Post betting I’m like a well oiled machine.I can virtually guarantee if there’s a bill that needs paying in 3 months time I will have a horse to pay it with, simple as that…soldier on Zark and just remember..’Confidence is King’!
February 16, 2017 at 21:20 #1287646Yeah just frustrating. Traffic Fluid the only value in there now but with it only being a 1-2 race, you’re fighting with Cue Card and Ascot specialist RR for a place. Who knows, maybe even Taquin De Seuil will put up a fight :D
February 16, 2017 at 22:31 #1287660I think you’re right about Traffic Fluide Zark, I think a fair bit of him, it’s
just a pity he’s a fragile horse. I took it on trust that he might be fit in
the Game Spirit and had a few quid on. He did well, but after a year off I think
he needed it and ran out of steam with two to go. I’m still not convinced he will
turn up here, just a week after that run, but if Gary Moore does chance him, he must
think he’s come out of it well and come on a bit for the run. I’ve chanced he might
just turn up and took some 20s with Boylesports yesterday.I’d had a bit on ante post for the Champion Chase a while back, I’m not convinced
he’ll turn up in that either, but stranger things have happened in racing so I’m
clinging on more in hope than expectation

You bet against both Altior AND Douvan? They say that bravery is by far the kindest word for stupidity ;)
February 17, 2017 at 08:14 #1287684Backed RR and Taquin de Seuil both e/w ante post
Now there is 6 runners do the bookies still have to honour 3 places?
February 17, 2017 at 08:28 #1287686I was also on the Lough ew. Woe!

If you were on with three places at the time, yes.

If Altior and Douvan both went for this, I’d have happily settled for 3rd. The thing is, I doubted
when I put this on that those 2 would take this on. It’s Douvan’s to win and Altior IMO will head
for the the Arkle. I’m certainly not interested in either of those at 1/3, so it’s a fair e/w bet.
I wouldn’t claim to be brave putting this bet on, but I’m not quite sure that puts me in the “stupid”
category either.February 18, 2017 at 05:49 #1287801You don’t rate IC at all then? Very classy on his day I think

Played him tonight in a small each way multi at 20/1
February 18, 2017 at 15:35 #1287920Went ew at 10/1 at the start of the week on Taquin Du Seuil and have done the forecast with Cue Card. Really looking forward to this one.

Did warn you. Slow old dog.
