Drama 2025
March 11, 2025 at 14:08 #1722630WD winners
He’s going for a 5f dash in the SummerMarch 11, 2025 at 14:11 #1722632WD winners. Shades of Champ getting back up in the BANC all those years ago after never being in the race
March 11, 2025 at 14:12 #1722633I just can’t believe a horse can make that many mistakes and still be so close at the end- the fences completely scaled back.
Majborough clearly just doesn’t like jumping so I hope they revert to the flat.
March 11, 2025 at 14:13 #1722635Great to see a good few of you on, well done
March 11, 2025 at 14:13 #1722636well done to all those who picked the winner
cromwells horses clearly in form judging by that one getting placed.
March 11, 2025 at 14:14 #1722637Jango wins, every other horse in the race “unlucky”.
Value Is EverythingMarch 11, 2025 at 14:18 #1722639Sectional times will show a lot.
I suspect the last couple of furlongs were a lot slower than the rest.Value Is EverythingMarch 11, 2025 at 14:20 #1722640Jumping is the name of the game great finish from the winner.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 11, 2025 at 14:23 #1722641WD winners but I’m in a state of disbelief after that.
The fav has made a complete pigs ear of 3 out of the last 4 fences.
March 11, 2025 at 14:31 #1722645…and the winner made a complete nonsense of two out with ground still to make up.
March 11, 2025 at 14:40 #1722650Majborough has flown some of his fences before, but also made mistakes too… JP’s horses are usually held up and despite being held up to win the Triumph over hurdles, Majborough had made the running or disputed it in his two chases prior to today. Was that because his jumping isn’t as good when taken on / under pressure? Also went violently left to put himself right. Studying the form before the Arkle it was plain that although he wasn’t a “bad” jumper as such, his rivals were all more accurate and consistent with their jumping. Wanted to be against him at the prices. Maybe Mullins should have got 3 chases into the 5 year old.
I thought Nico would attack with the “stayer” at the trip… I had Du Sud (who’s very fast) ante-post. And backed Only By Night yesterday (and today including at 33/1 just before the off) because I believed she might be the one dropped out the back and could “pick up the pieces” in an overly strongly run race. She did, but unfortunately one came from even further back.
Value Is EverythingMarch 11, 2025 at 15:01 #1722659Majborough might jump better going up in trip and less rushed. Mullins saw him as a stayer start of the season and so did i but he mopped up the 2 mile races in Ireland and Sir Gino got sick and there’s no Turners Chase.
March 11, 2025 at 15:53 #1722689The fav always looked a sloppy jumper , don’t think it was a vintage renewal at all for all it was exciting finish , the winner def a stayer and youd take him on over 2 miles on a flat course …aka Aintree
